Are the cans BPA and/or BPS free?

All of the Wellness plastic cups and cans are now BPA-free. Previously, the lids on the 12.5 ounce and 13.2 ounce sizes were the last to transition to BPA-free. To confirm that a 12.5 ounce or 13.2 ounce can is BPA-free, please look for an expiration date of March 2021 or later.

Could you feed a cat this food as a snack?

The gel-like clear substance is typically made of stock and gelatin and used as a glaze or garnish or to make a mold of meat. It is ok to give to your pet.

All of Wellness canned food is free of any ingredients from China. Wellness source's all of their protein ingredients from partner suppliers who are able to meet their exacting quality standards, standards that enable them to deliver consistently safe, premium-quality food for pets, including no use of growth hormones/antibotics and raising animals on a regular diet of quality feed. Their suppliers also must comply with local, state and federal environmental standards.

He was diagnosed with under active thyroid around 1 year and it started by using about a tablespoon in his dry food to hide the pill twice a day. Turns out he is a wonderful pill taker, now with seizures too, but he still takes his thyroid pill in the Wellness wet food he loves so much! I have been making homemade pill pockets for the rest of his drugs, but still gets his scoop of Wellness Core for his thyroid pill. It is ALWAYS the first thing he eats. Thanks Chewy, for making sure my boy gets what he needs!
