Feeding Instructions
Feed according to the age, size, and activity of your cat. If fed alone, feed 1.0oz for each pound of body weight daily. Your cat should have access to clean, fresh water. Refrigerate after opening.
Transition your pet gradually onto their new food over a week. Start by mixing a small amount of Weruva in with their old food and slowly increase the amount of Weruva fed over 7 days.

My diabetic cat was no longer tolerating Fancy Feast (vomiting), even though he had ate it for years. Tried a few prescription foods, which he turned his up his nose at. I did some research and discovered that Weruva pate fit the bill. It's a little pricey, but still cheaper than the prescribed food.

Odd texture
The texture of these slide & serve meals is odd; kind of rubbery. Difficult to cut up, and impossible to mash into a shape that fits in our SureFeed divided feeder
The texture of these slide & serve meals is odd; kind of rubbery. Difficult to cut up, and impossible to mash into a shape that fits in our SureFeed divided feeder dish. My cat didn't like it, probably because of the texture. She really likes the OMG Gravy Ciao Baby, which is the same chicken & shrimp flavor. So I'm not buying any more of these.

Cattyshack is her favorite flavor, I buy this by the box (& in a variety pack). It hits a hole in one for her and I appreciate the quality (it even has little shrimps, she won’t eat them but they’re there!). Hope they never stop making Cattyshack!
Cats did not like it
We have two male cats that LOVE food. They will scarf everything down and get very, very excited when it’s meal time. For some reason they really did not like this

They ate about 1/4 of it and walked away and asked for other food. I purchased another pate (in a can, same Weruva brand) and they really liked that so I’m not sure what they don’t like about this one. They’re happy to eat the BFF chicken and shrimp packets where it’s not a pate. Giving two stars since maybe it’s just our kitties, but it was a miss for us.

I purchased two of this flavor in the single pouches at a specialty pet food store. I have a finicky cat that is struggling with a thyroid condition and very thin, so I try to buy her only the healthiest of food. She loved it and ate both pouches, so I purchased the multipacks at Chewy. I don't know if the packs froze during shipping, but the consistency was different from the single pouches I purchased directly in person at the store and my kitty won't eat them. The consistency is jelly-like and doesn't appear to have as much moisture. Sadly, my search for a healthy palatable food for my finicky eater goes on.

It doesn't have visible shrimp as the photo would suggest, it's more of a puree of chicken and shrimp, but all our cats approve, so that's what matters. I would buy this again.

My cat really enjoyed the pouch. Easy to open and smells really fresh. My cat ran right up to it and started eating it. this 12 pack has Chicken and Shrimp dinner
