Will the Large hole diameter fit Yak Cheese sticks?

The Large Qwizl openings are roughly 1/2 in diameter on the large.

How easy is it for the dog to just pull the bully stick out of one end? What do you do when the only remaining part of the treat is hidden inside?

I have a Boxer who quickly figured out how to pull out the bully stick. She just used her paws to hold it and pulled the stick out with her mouth.

What size bully sticks would fit in the large Qwizl?

The center hole of the small is 3/8 inch, and the large has a 1/2 inch wide hole. We encourage comparing these measurements with the preferred treats.

How big in inches is the "small" size?

The small measures 5.5 inches.

Not for aggressive chewers!

This toy is amazing. My dog can't get enough of it. I figured out that there's a certain chew stick that fits really tight so I have to use force to get it in and my dog can't get it out. He will carry it around for hours working on it. He also really loves to have a human throw it because it bounces in a surprising path due to the shape. He'll ask me to throw it 50 times in a row. Best money I ever spent on a dog toy.

This is the third Qwizl we have owned. West Paw makes real toys for power chewers and Ripple is that! We freeze dog food inside the cavity as a puzzle. We bought red because of sports allegiances. It seems to be a little weaker than the green and orange. It is still better than Kong (don't get me started) or Nylabone, but the red just seems to lack the same durability of the other colors of Qwizl.

This chew toy has two options for bully sticks - each end will hold thinner ones (thicker ones don't fit), but I use it for the open slits in the sides that are just right to securely hold the thicker 6" bully sticks in place. It makes it much easier remove when a stick gets too small to be safe, rather than having to pry it out of my dog's mouth!

This is my third review of items I bought from West Paw, first I am from Bozeman and like to cheer for this company, but they do not know what a small dog is, I bought this for my 17 and 30 lb dog and maybe it is ok for the 30 lb dog, but probably too big for the 17 lb dog. Hey West Paw, you have great products but not everyone has heelers and labs! Learn what a small dog is!

He has other “tricky toys” as he knows them to be. And immediately went to work. This one was a bit tricky for ME however trying to find treats that were small enough to go in but not fall through the larger side grooves. I’m not a first timer to these however and put the little stuff in first then semi plug the side grooves with softer larger pieces of stuff like nudges or pupperonis broken down to size. He digs it.

I am a PhD student with a SUPER high-energy dog (lab, border collie, poodle mix who regularly runs with me). I take her out for lots of exercise in the morning, but anytime I work late, she has a hard time staying entertained enough with any puzzle toy or chew for me to get my work done. Kongs are great, but I just never remember to freeze them early enough and if they aren't frozen, they only take her a couple minutes to clear. But this actually keeps her entertained! And it takes me only a couple seconds to pop some treats in, or a bully stick, or a denastix, or whatever! It's such a win-win. This is about to be my Christmas present to every dog owner in my life.
