How much kibble can it hold?

The Large chew toy holds roughly 1/4 cup of kibble, however that will vary depending on what type of kibble the you are using. The Small chew toy holds 1/7th of a cup of kibble.

How exactly does the dog (and another) play "tug-o-war" with this type of chew toy?

This toy is designed for tug-o-war between the dog and dog owner, not between two dogs.

Can you put, say pumpkin or baby food inside and freeze it?

No matter what size, you can easily fill Tux with tasty, tempting treats, or add liquid and freeze it for frozen fun.

But is it pit bull proof?

Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal or truly indestructible, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff.

We like West Paw toys because they are durable, made in the USA, and are soft enough that they won't hurt any teeth. I foster dogs and most of them are large pitbulls who are heavy chewers, and coming straight out of the shelter they usually have a lot of anxiety and/or separation anxiety to work through. My household likes these toys in particular to freeze with yogurt, pumpkin, and other treat concoctions because the licking soothes the dogs and also keeps them distracted while making the crate a good place to be during crate training. I do not leave the dogs unsupervised with these toys for extended periods because they do eventually start to break pieces of rubber off and swallow it. I work remotely from home and a frozen toy usually allows me to get through a 30 minute work meeting before they finish the frozen part and start gnawing on the rubber.

Works for tough chewer

This actually fits the Woof brand pupsicle pops quite well, which is great because my dog tore the pupsicle holder apart, but this stands up to her!

For a while, all my dog could have for treats were marshmallows and I struggled to figure out how to make them last until I stuffed them in these toys. Now I also put large salmon wafers in them too and he works at it for at least 20 minutes. He also loves to chase them.

Our 6 yr old who has been quite shy & laid back has claimed this "indestructibHle" toy as his! He LOVES it! He is very laid back and doesn't really like to interact or "play" but he will bring this downstairs when it's bedtime! I was worried that given both Nash's & Wilson's powerful jaws & strength this would have been reduced to bits----- but after 4-5 months of daily gnawing its fine! Highly recommend!

Love the Tux, such a fun shape and my puppy loves it too. But I tend to fill it with wet ingredients rather than biscuits or milkbones, so it can be messy because it doesn't lay flat. I have to prop it up against something, but still worth it to change it up for the doggo. Even though the description says the Tux "hides treats," I find it too easy to access dry treats/kibble. Great for a light snack or just to keep them occupied for a little while (even frozen, this doesn't last more than 15 minutes).
