This multivitamin includes a probiotic and gut health blend (with Amylase & Bromelain) for occasional gastric digestive distress (constipation, diarrhea, gas, bloating), and vitamin C to support immune function.

If I give my dog the multivitamin do I still need to give the gut health? Does the digestive factors do the same thing?

The 8-in-1 Bites will be more of a multifunctional support chew that will target hip and joint function, heart health, skin health, gut function, the immune system, antioxidant activity, & liver health performance. Meanwhile, the Probiotic Bites will specifically target gut health. These bites are tailored specifically with six strains of probiotics to support gut health.

I have loved zesty paws products for a very long time and when his vet recommended I start him on a multivitamin I did not hesitate to purchase these a few years back and I’ve been using them daily ever since. And I know someone will read through reviews and say “well what differences have you seen” and that’s relative since most people wouldn’t start these due to their dogs being unhealthy and mostly to improve and boost their dogs overall health and wellbeing!

This can happen as low immune does not properly protect puppies from the normal bugs encountered during the nursing process. As soon as we started her on Zesty Paws her mange reduced and her hair filled back in quickly. We loved the boost she got so much that we now give it routinely to all our three dogs. They love the taste and consider it a treat, too!

However after giving it to one of my dogs (who is epileptic), she had a seizure within an hour. I later read online that treats with peanut butter can trigger seizures in epileptic dogs. There’s no warning on the label of this product and there should be. I will mention that my other dog is able to tolerate this treat but I hesitate to give it to her just in case it has a similar reaction.

The first time I ordered these, as soon as I opened the container I could smell the peanut butter right away and both of my furbabies LOVED them! So I ordered them again. However, they no longer smell like peanut butter even when I put them right up to my nose. Can't smell the PB! So I doubt that there really is any in them any longer. And one of my furbabies won't eat them. The other one will - but she eats EVERYTHING.

I been trying to find a multivitamin supplement that all 3 of my pups would like. When I saw the reviews on this brand I was sure they would like this since it was to taste like Peanut Butter. My pups love PB and when Chewy boxes are delivered we say The Peanut Butter boxes are here. However this Multivitamin apparently don't taste like Peanut Butter because one of my Huskies and my Beagle will not eat them and even crushed up in the food bowl they wont eat most of their food because they can taste this supplement in their food. So if a Beagle turns her nose up to this then I’d have to say it does not really taste like Peanut Butter. So hope you have better luck with your pups than I did with this product.
