For dogs weighing 75 pounds, the dosage can safely follow the guideline for dogs 25–75 lbs. However, if the dog is still growing and expected to exceed 75 lbs, Zesty Paws recommends following the “over 75 pounds” dosage instead to maintain optimal probiotic and nutrient levels as body weight increases.

My dogs have been taking this probiotic for a while now, I have it on auto ship. I just opened a new container the other day and immediately noticed that the chews look different. And sure enough, my dogs have been having horrible gas and soft stool over the last couple of days-starting as soon as I gave them the new chews. I came on Chewy to see if anyone else in the reviews was having these issues, and I see multiple reviews saying the same thing. Annoying that there was no notice about the formula change. I got backlogged with my auto ship and now have two huge containers of these probiotic chews that I can no longer use.

We then got a pit mix who has sensitive stomach (as most pits do lol) so we currently have him on these, as well. They are absolutely amazing at being proactive in digestion issues and the dogs will eat them as treats!

All of my big dogs like these, even Jack who doesn't like canned pumpkin or most pumpkin treats. They each get one per day with dinner instead of the recommended dosage. When I gave the recommended number of chews instead of just one, it caused two of my dogs with sensitive stomachs to have diarrhea all night. I felt badly for them, and I didn't get much sleep for a few days. That hasn't happened again since only giving one chew per day with dinner.
