Precautions

Please provide plenty of fresh water when giving any chew or treat. Because this is a natural treat, its sizing, color and appearance may vary—this is normal. You may also notice a natural scent and oil while your pal chews; this natural oil may stain your furniture, carpeting or other surfaces. If this product splinters or develops sharp edges, throw it away immediately for your pet’s safety.

Very Stinky, Oily, and softer than several brands of the pork pizzles I tried

    By on

But my pups love it. I used to get the Barkworthies' pork pizzles by the case, but recently, I have purchased over 200 pork pizzles and 90% of them were super dried, pale in color rather than dark red, and my dogs don't care for them. In search for another brand of pork pizzles, I tried 4 other brands so far, and this is as close to the original Barkworthies pork pizzles as I can find. The only difference is that this Cadet brand is very smelly, kind of greasy, and much softer. I like that it is softer, because I unbraid them so that it is easier for my girls to eat them. I don't care of how long they will last, I am more interested in making it easier for my girls to eat them. They are so finicky But my pups love it. I don't care of how long they will last, I am more interested in making it easier for my girls to eat them. They are so finicky and only eat a handful of treats. They really like these, and smelly or not, I will continue to get them. I unbraided them and stored them in a plastic container. I noticed that once the pork pizzles have a chance to air out, the smell went away. I have ordered, gosh, almost 20 packs, and the quality is consistent. I am so happy to find another brand so that my girls won't have to go without pork pizzles. … more

    Love them but pricey

    By on

These are by far Bella's fav! They do have a strong odor but she devours them! I find they are a little pricey for only 4 count & they aren't all 6" but since she enjoys them so much I still get them!

    Teething Distraction

    By on

I call these the puppy tablet, because they are like giving a kid an iPad. It is a quick way to keep them quiet and distracted. I give them to my teething puppy as a positive thing to chew on and it keeps her from biting things she shouldn’t. My 3 year old dog is just as happy to sit and chew through it and it keeps them both busy for a while. No upset stomachs either.

Stinky But The Dogs LOVE 'Em!

    By on

These are real quality chews. Our two dogs love them to literal bits. They take their time and really chew and chew on these puppies. They do reek to us humans but the smell is worth it, I guess :-( ha! Please give them a try and your dogs will love you more for it!! The treats last a good long time.

    Two disliked these

    By on

Two out of three dogs turned their noses up at these. One is really picky, so that wasn't surprising. The other rarely rejects anything. I may buy these in the future for the third boy; he was pretty happy with them. Maybe

Tasty, but not a good bully stick alternative

    By on

For a comparison, my 35-lb dog finishes regular 6 inch bully sticks in about 20-30 minutes depending on the thickness. Then a braided one takes approximately 45 minutes. My pup liked these treats a lot! But she chowed down on this and finished it within 5 minutes max. I wanted a chew treat that would last her longer for the price, but she still enjoyed it.

I thought these would be like Bully Sticks

    By on

I thought these were long lasting like Bully Sticks. My dog eats one in about 2 minutes. She does love them but just know they are nothing like Bully Sticks.

    piggy brained sticks....

    By on

Waste of money. This is the poorest quality of pig tails they could bag up. Very tiny broken pieces.
