New favorite!
By Shelby on Nov 20, 2020
These are great for my two pups! I read another review that said they untwist these and give the individual strands as one treat-genius! I did the same and was pleased with how long it took to go through a bag and it also takes my pups several minutes to finish one. Plus my dogs are 5lb and 12lb Yorkies so I was worried the braided ones would be too big and I'm pretty sure they would have been. Yes, these are quite oily and fairly stinky but I think that's why they like them so much! I will definitely be buying again, especially with this recent price drop!

Very Stinky, Oily, and softer than several brands of the pork pizzles I tried
By Tilly on Sep 25, 2020
But my pups love it. I used to get the Barkworthies' pork pizzles by the case, but recently, I have purchased over 200 pork pizzles and 90% of them were super dried, pale in color rather than dark red, and my dogs don't care for them. In search for another brand of pork pizzles, I tried 4 other brands so far, and this is as close to the original Barkworthies pork pizzles as I can find. The only difference is that this Cadet brand is very smelly, kind of greasy, and much softer. I like that it is softer, because I unbraid them so that it is easier for my girls to eat them. I don't care of how long they will last, I am more interested in making it easier for my girls to eat them. They are so finicky But my pups love it. They really like these, and smelly or not, I will continue to get them. I unbraided them and stored them in a plastic container. I noticed that once the pork pizzles have a chance to air out, the smell went away. I have ordered, gosh, almost 20 packs, and the quality is consistent. I am so happy to find another brand so that my girls won't have to go without pork pizzles. … more

Favorite piggy braid
By Flip on Nov 4, 2020
My German Shepherd dog waits each morning by the kitchen counter for her piggy braided chew. Each packet has full length piggy braids, which is what I have been looking for. I had been purchasing a brand at local grocery store and was constantly disappointed with the contents. The packing states there are 5 in each package; however, they are not all the same size. Maybe 2 out of the 5 are a decent length and the rest usually look like remnants. CADET is the best!

Our Lab's favorite treat!
By Boba on Oct 23, 2020
First, if you're looking for an alternative to bully sticks, this is not for you. These are not long-lasting chews. They're much softer than bully sticks. Our Lab can chew these down in a minute. But, for a surprisingly picky Lab, we'll always buy whatever she'll eat & these happen to be her favorite treat!

Love them but pricey
By Domv555 on Oct 16, 2020
These are by far Bella's fav! They do have a strong odor but she devours them! I find they are a little pricey for only 4 count & they aren't all 6" but since she enjoys them so much I still get them!

Teething Distraction
By ChiMom on Jul 20, 2020
I call these the puppy tablet, because they are like giving a kid an iPad. It is a quick way to keep them quiet and distracted. I give them to my teething puppy as a positive thing to chew on and it keeps her from biting things she shouldn’t. My 3 year old dog is just as happy to sit and chew through it and it keeps them both busy for a while. No upset stomachs either.

Stinky But The Dogs LOVE 'Em!
By Stinky on Jul 1, 2020
These are real quality chews. Our two dogs love them to literal bits. They take their time and really chew and chew on these puppies. They do reek to us humans but the smell is worth it, I guess :-( ha! Please give them a try and your dogs will love you more for it!! The treats last a good long time.

Two disliked these
By Timoti on May 3, 2020
Two out of three dogs turned their noses up at these. One is really picky, so that wasn't surprising. The other rarely rejects anything. I may buy these in the future for the third boy; he was pretty happy with them. Maybe
