my dogs are traumatized by a shooting in my home. loud noises, sudden movements n me leaving them terrifies them. they chew on themselves, pant, cry, etc. wat do u suggest?

With Regular Pet Collars: Remove Calm Paws Calming Disk from the package and thread the collar through either the narrow slots for thin collars or the wide slot for thicker collars. Secure the collar to your pet following manufacturer's directions.
What age is this good for? I've got a 13wk pup that seems to have major separation anxiety and I think this might help.

Did not do a thing

This did not affect my dog in any way. He never even acted differently in eating, excitement, jumping, panting and anxiety in the car, NOTHING changed.

Disappointed

I like the idea of the disk fitting on the collar of the dog. This product didn't produce the results I was looking for. Other products have worked better. The "scent/calming" didn't seem to be strong enough. It lasted maybe 3 days.

Found By Error

I needed an E-collar for my Little Man to help him stop licking a rash he has. My daughter came home with a $49.99 collar that included these calming discs by Calm Paws. I was so furious about how much she spent but my little guy needed the collar so I kept it. With the e-collar Calm Paws provided a free calming disc which slipped into a netted pocket inside the collar. While still upset about the price I said this thing better work.! The disc does smell but it’s a floral sent we decided as lavender. After having Little Man wear the collar for 4 days, everyone in the family noticed how different he has been acting, especially with our other dog. Little Man stopped “attacking” our other dog (no harm, he’s 95 lbs and Little Man is 12!). Little Man gives our other dog kisses, he has stopped yapping, and is sweeter when cuddling with you. He may still have other calmed traits I’m not listing, but this disc works where Prozac really hasn’t phased Little Man. I don’t know the science, or why it changed my dog for the better and not some other dogs, but I’m putting it on a Chewy auto-delivery program and I’m grateful for Calm Paws slipping in discs to a e-collar product to introduce their product! The $50 I paid for collar was now worth the price since finding this product.

Indifferent - could not tell if it worked

Could not tell if it was doing anything. Puppy seemed same level of energy as always.

Really works

Calms my shitzu from Thunderstorm and fireworks sounds. She use to tremble and this has really made a difference as we live in Florida.

The product itself did not work. I've tried one in the past but not this brand.
