LOVE THIS COLLAR! IT WORKED INSTANTLY!

    By on

This collar is amazing. As soon as I put it on Sofia, she started rubbing her cheek on everything. She was so happy she was drooling. Her fellow cat mates can't get enough of the smell themselves. I had to put the left over lining piece on Jessie`s tag ring. Beth Anne is rubbing her body everywhere Sofia has been rubbing. I might be strange, but I love the smell. It reminds me of the smell of a tea bag box with Chamomile and peppermint you open. You get that waft of tea smell. Yummy. Jessie kept bothering me while I was prepping it for Sofia. Sofia has this collar due to her feeling the need to tell the boys, Jessie and Maxwell, she can walk anywhere and any time she wants to and they This collar is amazing. Sofia has this collar due to her feeling the need to tell the boys, Jessie and Maxwell, she can walk anywhere and any time she wants to and they have to leave the premises. She is the queen. This is part of her personality, however this is a sign of stress and despite run of the house all day and night, numerous litter boxes, and multiple access points to various heights in the house, she needed an aid to calm down. Stress lowers the immune system and no immune system means getting sick. Thankfully, she hasn't gotten sick, but less stress is better. My story is a success story. Each cat has preferences though (so do their humans). It is absolutely worth a try, however if you don't like the smell of a tea box everytime you snuggle or pet your cat, I would try other brands first. … more

    Best I have found

My cat Beverly has aggression issues, treated with a compounded Rx that I place inside her ear each morning. She can't have catnip; her vet diagnosed her as a "mean drunk" - it only makes her more aggressive, of course. After having arrived at these solutions, in part with a calming collar, I have learned a bit about these collars! This collar works as well or better than others we've tried. It's MUCH easier to put on also!

we have two cats & they don't get along. out vet suggested trying the collar on the male, as he is very aggressive toward the female. it does make some difference in him, so we continue using one on him.

Cat is doing great but I can't stand the smell

    By on

We've used pretty much all the brand's of stress collars and this one smells awful IMO.... more like eucalyptus potpourri. Our 3 cats all reacted to it (we have 3 but only 1 uses/needs the collar), like a catnip, playful response. I can't wait for the smell to weaken a bit so I don't have to plug my nose around him!

    Calm Paws Calming Cat Collar

I am not thrilled with the scent, Instead of a nice mint scent it has more of a grassy scent. I will go back to the Sentry Calming Collar.

    Terrible experience

    By on

My 7 mos old male Ragdoll, who has been neutered continues to be aggressive towards my 8 yr old female. Thought I'd give this one a try after reading a positive review with a similar situation. OMG.......from the moment I placed it on him, he began rolling around, panicked look, running, jumping, chirping and summa wrestling with my female. It was awful.

    Don't buy this product

The scent is overwhelming and it made my cat drool uncontrollably and act very strange. It's definitely too concentrated and I would not recomment.

    Love this collar ......

I really like this out of all the calming products. My rescue, she loves it and it's really helped her. My male cat liked and played with it but he almost choked on a collar and had a bad reaction to a flea collar, so he doesn't get collars on his neck and longer. Regarding the smell, it is a strong spearmint type smell and perhaps some catnip. The key is to let it air out; which, is when I let my male get some of it on his fur etc. I them put it on my female for a bit. You can just leave it in a room or the carrier etc Honestly, this product is a life saver. The plugs I think don't really work and I have tried several. There is a Dr type spray that is great for the money as well I'll review I really like this out of all the calming products. My rescue, she loves it and it's really helped her.
