Chafed my pup's paws

My dog had a run-in with some glass on the sidewalk so I've been looking for boots that she can wear when walking around the neighborhood. These looked lightweight and breathable so I was excited to try them. Unfortunately they wouldn't stay put no matter how I adjusted them and kept twisting on her feet. About 20 minutes into our walk and after multiple adjustments I noticed her limping. When I took the boots off I saw the bottom of her foot pad was all chafed. Luckily I had brought backup boots that I could switch to so we could walk home (she's too heavy to carry that far). Needless to say I'm disappointed because these were pricey! I think they're too dirty to return.

Absolutely Pawsome!

We live in a downtown/city center environment and we are constantly dodging broken glass, icemelt salt, etc. I started our little Coco Bean with booties this past winter and had the best results with Canada Pooch because they slip on like a sock and then you sinch them from there. They go up higher than other booties and stay on. When spring rolled around I wanted lighter booties so took the plunge with these. Absolute winners. She's a Bichon, so these help keep her paws clean (greatly reducing the need for paw washing), still keep her paws safe from broken glass on the sidewalks, and will help when the pavement gets hot. I am amazed at how many people do not think to use these. Your puppy will also garner additional oohs and ahhhs because they are even more adorable in these puppy kicks. An absolute home run!

Great Summer Boots

I bought these for my dog who is allergic to grass. They are not waterproof but dry quickly. I like that these boots go higher up on my dog’s leg while she walks across grassy areas. They are breathable while protecting her from the allergens that give her severe allergy symptoms on her paws. They fit well. My dog is a 65 pound American Bulldog/Pit mix wearing size 4.

Really good dog boots.

This is our second attempt at a dog boot. The first set had a hard rubberized foot, difficult to put on, and made her trip. These are so much (much!) easier to put on and are a good enough protection for our hot Arizona pavement, sharp rocks, and thorns. Best thing is she walks easily in them without tripping. Sizing is accurate.

not sturdy enough

They were easy to put on and stayed on my dog’s paws. However, 3/4 boots ripped after one use. If your dog likes to run, then I wouldn’t recommend them as they rip easily.

The first shoes my pup will wear

My headstrong pup has not liked ANY shoes in the past and she has accepted these ones with some practice which I feel very lucky about!

Getting used to the boots

Quigley isn't too sure about these boots, but I'm sure they will save his little paws come summer in Arizona.
