warm coat!
Chewy and this coat are fabulous. First Chewy, I measured my dog and ordered a 12. It arrived on time but was slightly snug so I called customer service to exchange it. They credited that one back and asked me to donate it and immediately sent a 14. The 14 has plenty of room which is better for my dog because he hates coats. This coat is very well constructed, easy to put on, and keeps his tummy covered better than those with just a strap. He is long haired and short legged which makes him a sponge in a wet snowfall. He does not seem to mind this coat at all and keeps him very warm and dry! I highly recommend both the coat and Chewy. I donated the 12 to ARF in the neighboring town.
Fits great high quality
This is a high quantity coat. Material and zippers feel great. Looks nice I got the orange coat in size 20 for a 33lb French bulldog. It fits nice. Material is great on cold and rain.
Nice Jacket
Really like the jacket, but unfortunately it did not fit not even close. I measured my dog and went off what was listed, it was tight around my dogs neck and there was no way it would have zipped up. I feel like I would have to go up 2 sizes to accommodate his harness, but then it would be too long. Hopefully I can return & try a different style. I would recommend the coat it's very nice, just didn't work out for us.
Best coat!
I have bought 3 dog jackets for my dog now and this one is the best by far. It has a zipper on each side which makes putting it on really easy. It's thick and warm. You can tighten it around the neck if you want to make it less drafty, but you can leave it loose around the neck to accommodate a collar and tags. And best of all, the hole for the harness loops has a zipper so you can make it bigger or smaller, so it's very easy to get the leash hooked on, but also easy to minimize the amount of cold air going in. This is a very well made doggie coat!
ADORABLE and highly functional
Sweet Leroy Brown LOVES his new coat- he looks like the cutest pumpkin! We typically enjoy daily 3-4 mile walks and this coat repels water, snow on the exterior and the inside is so warm and fleecy. Having had multiple coats that have used Velcro closures, I find the zippers are much more secure and block cold air more effectively. Even though there is a very convenient zippered opening for a harness to be worn under the jacket, I put the harness on the outside on the coldest days to keep the coat snuggly against his body. Leroy Brown weigh 12 lbs, his back is almost 14 inches long and the size 12 fits perfectly. Best coat ever!
Great Jacket, size way up
Going by the size chart, our dog would have needed a 14. I ordered a 16 and it was still too small. Size up 1 -2 sizes. Love the jacket and the zippers (velcro doesn't work with our dog) but I'm disappointed that it was so small.
Great quality
This is the second jacket I've purchased. Liked the first one I got for my dog so much, I bought the same one for his sister. This is a great quality, warm jacket. I also have the snowsuits as my dogs have hair, not fur, and end up with snowballs attached to their legs and bellies in fresh snow. Canada Pooch makes quality items.

I've actually been waiting for Chewy to request a review for this! When this vest arrived it was pretty snug on my dog as his weight fell right on highest point line. I loved the look and feel of the coat and RELLY wanted it to fit! I immediately called Chewy to exchange for one size up (12). They advised they do not do returns/exchanges (which I was aware of with food and treats, but not apparel). I think I spoke to Lisa, who was such a pleasure and told me to donate it and helped me reorder. The new coat arrived 2 days later and my little guy loves it! I can actual tell by the warmth of his fur when I take it off, that he's warm, And the very next day, I donated to the first one to the shelter down the block. Thank you Chewy for being so accommodating!
