No More Muddy Pooch
By CourtneyLove on Jan 3, 2021
The Canada Pooch mud and slush onesie is a great addition to winter clothing for dogs. This is a well made accessory that covers most of the dog's body so that going to the park for a run on muddy and slushy surfaces isn't a nightmare after the fun is over. The Chewy site doesn't give the Weight Chart that is attached to to the item itself. And that is the problem. The Weight Chart indicates that I bought the wrong size suit! Even the CanadaPooch website does NOT have this Weight Chart. It only includes neck, chest and back measurements. Chewy needs to include the Weight Chart attached to the tag on the garment to prevent needless returns and dog owner frustration.

Super dog suit fit! And works!
By Daisy on Jan 4, 2021
Wanted to see if this item prevented cocklebur matting in Daisy's coat when we take trails along local river area. She got some in tail/haunches, as those areas are uncovered. Still, effective where it covers her body and definitely a good rain slicker, and seems to be comfortable as it didn't inhibit her running, jumping and being adorable. She prances around all "special-like", in hot pink one lol

Good Attempt, Execution Iffy for the Oddly Sized
By HHighwater on Jan 9, 2021
Helen lives in Maine, where precipitation and subsequent mud, grit, salt, snow, slush, and ice are omnipresent 9 months of the year. She’s a Sato from Puerto Rico, and doesn’t fit any template for any dog I’ve ever met. She’s got the length of a medium dog, the chest of a small dog, waist of a Greyhound, and the legs of a Basset. In short, wicked hard to fit in anything. Since she’s short and has feathery accents all over, all the junk on the ground adheres to her. We needed something to wear at 0: Dark Thirty in the morning when the roads are gross and I don’t have time for bath. For reference, her length is 17.75 inches, 18.75 chest, 15 inch waist, 13 inch neck. She weighs 22lbs. For reference, her length is 17.75 inches, 18.75 chest, 15 inch waist, 13 inch neck. She weighs 22lbs. We ordered a size 16. This slush suit is a good attempt. Fabric feels good and not cheap. There are a few adjustments for fit, mostly at the neck, and snaps on the legs. Side zipper is smooth, but overall the dressing hassle is noteworthy. Surprisingly the legs weren’t ridiculous on her tiny legs. The length was a bit short on her back given my choice to size smaller, but that helped with the angle of her tail. Because she is super narrow in the chest and waist, the suit bagged out a bit and made a lot of extra fabric, which could allow moisture and junk in onto her ribcage on wetter days. Definitely makes the “swish” when walking. No belly coverage whatsoever here for all your short dog owners. The back view is reminiscent of a cowgirl/boy in chaps, which is worth a chuckle. It did noticeably help keep grit off her chest and legs. It resisted water on the road well. We haven’t tried it in any active rain or snow. Sizing was a bit weird for her proportions, which affected her mobility a bit in the legs. Harness opening was super helpful and functional. All components are high quality. I just wiped it off with a wet cloth and set it to dry. I would have appreciated more reflectivity for those of us in dark regions of the world. In sum, a high quality piece for standard sized dogs. You need a dog that would be okay with being handled to get this on, and not weirded out by the swish of the suit. This won’t keep bellies from getting dirty or wet on short dogs. Doesn’t add warmth, but helps protect from grime. If you have a dog that has more typical body proportions, worth a shot. I don’t think this will be our everyday go-to piece given sizing issues, but that’s just because of the dog, not the garment. We will keep it since it was on sale, but may have returned it if I had paid full price for it. … more

Beautiful Quality, But Not Available Large Enough For My 98 lbs Dog
By RebeccaChicago on Dec 7, 2020
This coat is awesome, but I ordered it too small for my dog. I measured him, but I didn't pay attention to the weight. The 28 was long enough for my dog, but the 28 only accommodates a dog up to 75 lbs. It was too tight on our 98 lbs dog. This coat is not made for dogs over 75 lbs. If the maker decides to make a larger size, I will order it, because it's a well-made and attractive coat. I didn't return the coat, because I gave it to a friend who has a 75 lbs dog.

Great Coat
By Visionary63 on Nov 30, 2020
This coat is so well made and super cute. I was hoping to use it on the real muddy days. Unfortunately, my dog is in between sizes so the fit doesn't work very well for her. She is also sensitive and wouldn't move in it! She is used to coats with a lot Iess cover. I do recommend, however, as your dog might be fine with it!

Quality suit
By Tina on Dec 9, 2020
This is very well made. My Pom is 12 lbs. I originally ordered size 14 but it was too big, the back legs were way too long and the length of the back went over his tail. I called Chewy and ordered a 12, it’s perfect. Chewy customer service is always a pleasure to work with.

A little tight but cute.
By Hnue on Dec 17, 2020
Wanted something that would provide full-body coverage for when it rains and the size 28, although a bit of a squeeze, fit our dog pretty well. He can still move, sit, and lay down in it without issue.

Works like a charm
By Hollie on Jan 11, 2021
Fits perfectly on my Grandpups. Helps alot with the snowballs that would stick to their fur.
