Sizing chart off
By Anna on Feb 10, 2022
Pekoe is 23” chest, 17” back, 13” neck, 34lbs. Based on the size chart, we got Size 18. Way too small! Then we sized up to 20, and while that fit better, it was still a little too tight length-wise for his proportions (his backs legs were restricted a bit). I think he could have worn it on walks, but for the amount of money it cost, I’d rather something that fits well. I had originally got this because I thought the full-body coverage would help him stay warmer on walks, but I think all you need is a good jacket (e.g. Ruffwear) to keep your dog’s core warm. This material is pretty thin anyhow.

Graphene fabric; stretches only a little, lengthwise
By BambooTheMaltichon on Feb 19, 2022
I read all the reviews before purchasing this re fit and re the fabric, and here are my thoughts: 1) There's variation in the same size, which means that quality control is not as good as it should be. 2) People's definition of what fits on their dog (how tight, how loose) is relative to their ideas of how clothing should fit a dog. 3) Dogs are the most morphologically diverse species on the planet, meaning that their form (size and shape) varies incredibly. Factory-produced clothing is never going to fit every dog precisely, as there's a 2 inch gap between sizes. e.g., if your dog's length, depending on exactly where you start to measure, could be 12.5", which makes a 12" onesie a little I read all the reviews before purchasing this re fit and re the fabric, and here are my thoughts: 1) There's variation in the same size, which means that quality control is not as good as it should be. 2) People's definition of what fits on their dog (how tight, how loose) is relative to their ideas of how clothing should fit a dog. 3) Dogs are the most morphologically diverse species on the planet, meaning that their form (size and shape) varies incredibly. Then there's how chesty they are, like bulldogs and greyhounds vs really slender builds. Ideally, manufacturers would provide more sizing options, ie, 10", 11", 12", 13", 14", etc. Unfortunately, they don't. That said, I have seen that Hurtta provides additional size options, such as 10XS, 10S, 10M, which helps out for the chest and leg lengths, but not the back lengths. Since the fabric isn't stretchy enough, it would be logical (but annoying) to buy several of the same size and see if one was made slightly larger or smaller. Or take it to a tailor and have them fit the onesie to your dog, obviously driving up the cost. Re the fabric, it says that the fabric is graphene. There is a honeycomb print on the interior of the fabric, which I believe is the graphene layer printed onto the fabric. According to my research, graphene is excellent at conducting heat. Therefore, I think that this onesie is meant as a base layer, underneath an outer layer. If you think about copper pans and how they heat up and cool down quickly, graphene is something like that. (I'm just relaying what I read about it.) Re price, this is on the high end of dog clothing, along with Hurtta. We got the Hurtta thermal onesie, but the elastic obstructed my male dog from peeing. Not sure where all the great reviews came from, as we tried about 3 of them, including the different variations. Also, I don't think the fabric on the Hurtta one has any special heat retention properties. … more

Perfect Solution!
By Christina on Jan 8, 2022
My 30lb Beagle is skinny and in the winter he is chilly even inside but absolutely miserable in the cold even with a coat. I got this to cover his back half + legs when going outside in winter. The material is stretchy and soft, like human athletic wear. I ordered only 1 size up from his measurements: size 20 and it’s perfect. Not too tight or baggy! Comes on a very nice hanger.

a bit big but what i was looking for
By kathi on Jan 26, 2022
it’s on the expensive side, but great for layering under jackets and stuff. i mainly wanted to add some protection/warmth to my dog’s legs and belly, so this does the trick! it runs big (i think i measured correctly), but the longer sleeves worked out for the aforementioned purpose, and a five minute sewing adjustment made the length fit better.

Good thermal base for layering
By Bostonterrier on Feb 3, 2022
Thin stretchy material, well made and good for layering. Measurements were accurate. Keeps my pup’s legs covered in the cold and he can still pee! I use this underneath a more substantial puffy vest for my 11 yr old Boston terrier.

Not recommended to keep your dog warm
By BananaNanna on Jan 11, 2022
This "thermal" is equivalent to a long sleeve shirt. Not recommended if you're trying to keep your pet warm on a walk outside. Highly disappointed especially for how expensive this was. Putting one of my sweatshirts on my dog keeps her more worm than this "thermal".

Ben love his long johns
By Benny on Dec 18, 2021
This is so great under Ben’s coat or alone on our walks. It fits him snuggly and not only keeps him warm but, I believe, gives him a little more confidence on our walks. Ok, so he doesn’t exude confidence in this pic, it was his initial fitting. He love his long johns now.

Terrific addition to Lilly's winter wardrobe
By snowsuit on Feb 1, 2022
I use this under a puffy jacket that doesn't cover her rear end, and it works really well. The fit is perfect. I used the size chart; it was exactly as described.

Sadie'sOnesie
By Sadie on Oct 30, 2021
I bought this for my Pittie, Sadie. She's always cold and wants to be under a blanket all the time. I put it on her and it's a bit snug, maybe a little too snug, so I'll probably return it and get one or two sizes bigger for her. While she had it on, she seemed to love it. Like it provided warmth and just enough pressure for her to be able to relax and feel supported. I loved that it didn't have rubber duckies or any other pajama type graphics on it.

Undersized fitting by a lot!
By pups on Oct 30, 2021
I was so excited to get this as my dog is always cold. I ordered the 14 as his neck to tail is 14in and his chest is 20. I couldn't even get it on him or his legs through the arm holes it definitely doesn't stretch as advertised.
