Poor quality
I would not recommend this coat. We have a little yorkie. While the coat fits him well, we have not had the coat for a month and it has already shown major signs of wear and tear. Our little dog only goes out for short walks and to use the restroom and the material has already started to tear and peel. For the price, I would expect better quality. See photos.
Canada Pooch
I bought this coat for my 11 pound Chiweenie. The instructions said to wipe clean with a damp cloth. When you live in the northeast and your legs are 3 inches high, a damp cloth won't cut it. I put it in the wash {no dryer} and it washed like a dream. It's much warmer than her other coats, and we love it!
Great winter coat
Ordered and delivered in 2 days! Our Boston Terrier weighs 27 lbs and we ordered a size 14 based on the product reviews and rough measurements and it fit perfectly. It is easy to put on and to take off. It is like a child winter coat but for your dog. We did not run into return issues but all the reviews say that it was a breeze. I would highly recommend the Chewy website and this coat for anyone with a dog that has short hair.
decent but could be amazing with a slight redesign
overall I liked this parka for my lil staffordshire. I like the materials used in this parka. the reflective material is no joke, Highly reflective, top marks here. where I find it falls short is in the symmetrical belly closure design. Specifically it was an uncomfortable donning experiecne for my lil gal. no instructions to assist in the process, which one would think is straight forward. both feet through arm holes and then pull over head?? or one foot at a time and over the back, like a human might don a jacket? either method is not an enjoyable experience for my girl. A zipper or hook and loop closure at the 3/4 flank with a flap would be the hit ticket. no funny dog yoga moves to get the thing on. just lay parka on ground and have doggo step into leg holes, wrap longer flap over doggos back, meet the two ends of the closure system. SHAZZAM. No fuss No muss, just a hot doggie happy as a clam. Until then, this is fine enough for the relatively mild winters in the temperate PNW. as for recommending the item to a friend....Mehh.... Unless redesigned with satisfactory execution, then I would absolutely,recommend it. Hope this helps some one
Size chart isn't accurate
The size chart on the listing isn't accurate. When the jacket arrives there is a size chart based on weight, not chest size, on the hanger. According to that chart, my dog needed two sizes larger than I ordered. I ordered a size 24, which was two sizes larger than my dog needed when comparing his chest size to the size chart on the listing.I had decided to size up after reading reviews that it runs small because my dog is wide, but that still wasn't enough. The jacket that I got is very narrow in the shoulders and that prevents the jacket from closing. I suspect this is why the weight vs chest measurement had caused issues for others. I had a hard time getting the jacket on my dog because it's so narrow. He's young and nimble, so I was able to carefully fold his leg into it but I have to pull on the jacket to get his leg in the armhole. I then leave it hanging open because it won't close on his upper chest. I put a safety vest over top of the jacket to keep his belly warm. I don't recommend this jacket for anyone with a wide stature dog or a dog with older joints. I gave this coat two stars because the quality of the jacket is really nice and I appreciate the button to hold back the hood.
Size UP runs small
Too small. Size up. Our dogs are chihuahua mixed and 9lbs. We got the size 10 but hope Size 12 fits better around their arm holes.
Perfect Parka
This coat is amazing! It is made so well and will definitely protect your pup when the temps drop.

I am very happy that Chewy Carries this type of air purifier filter . This Germ Guardian is great for small areas that need filtration . I have a cat that is very happy that I have this unit around . The “ Chewy Customer Care “ was very helpful towards me asking for a paper receipt to be mailed to me even though a lot of companies do receipts by Email . Not worth $75
My dog is a 2 year old male chow / terrier mix, about 48lbs. I measured him and it took 3 tries to get the right size, luckily Chewy was very understanding about that. The sizing information on Canada Pooch’s website is a lot better than the dearth of information on Chewy. The coat itself is ok and seems warm, however, I’ve had this coat for 3 days, he’s worn it twice, and the seams where the Velcro is stitched into the coat are already ripped and fraying, and the Velcro patch needs to be re-sewn. For $75, this is a high end price tag for a dog coat that doesn’t even last a week.
Stylish Coat
I love this coat! It is very fashionable and fits beautifully ! I ordered the red and black and it looks so stunning on Henry. It is a very warm jacket and I know my Henry is nice and warm in it! Very happy and satisfied with this purchase!
