1 doesnt like, 1 doesnt prefer
By HappyCatMom on Jan 7, 2021
this is the first canidae brand dry food i try for my 2 babies, the ingredients look right and its suppose to be one of their top lines. unfortunately the picky eater turn nose away, and the heavy eater seems always go for the other kibbles first when it's mixed with another brand.. this is my observation after 4 wks of transitioning using the mixed method... i might not buy this again

My Picky Cat Loves It
By Cicada on Dec 29, 2019
My cat is an incredibly picky eater. We first got her when she was about 4 weeks old. She had been on Iams and kitten safe milk. She liked it for a couple of weeks until she could eat the kibble on its own and then she just stopped eating it. Nothing wrong with her health she just didn't like it anymore and refused to eat it. We started mixing in wet food and she liked it for two days. We switched her to Merrick but she didn't like it. Then we finally switched her over to this and she has been eating it ever since. She has gained all her weight back and has stayed at a healthy weight for well over 6 months now. this food for me was a god sent. Open bag of food
By rancherwat on Oct 29, 2019
Unfortunately this bag of food was open due to a glich in the system, a nugget of food got caught during the sealing process at the top of the bag. I will not be feeding this to my kittens.

They hate it
By CrazyCatLady on Oct 15, 2019
I really thought this would be a hit. I liked the ingredient list and thought it would be a nice change from the usual. It's a no-go. They absolutely hate it. I have never seen my 4 (yes, ALL 4!) walk away from dry food.

All 5 cats like it.
By SparkleSprinkler on Jul 28, 2019 top500Contributor
I do wish potatoes and peas would no longer be put in pet foods. Can't find a perfect dry kibble for dogs or cats. This one is one of the few better ones as the peas and potatoes are lower on the list than almost all other brands and formulas and also there are many meat ingredients in this formula. None of my cats throw this food up or have diarrhea.
