I have a 14 week old Boston terrier puppy who is having a heck of a time with his sensitive stomach, he’s 10 pounds does he weigh too much to eat this? I’m a little worried he won’t benefit from this
Answer by ChewyMar 22, 2019
Puppies under 6 months of age are recommended to do a free choice feeding. Once puppies are over 6 months, they'll require a daily feeding regimen. ....Not sure....

My puppies will nibble a few but definitely don't make a meal of it, maybe not mature enough

no good for us

I was hoping this would be a good choice. Unfortunately my poor King Charles has a super upset stomach since switching

My dog did not approve

My dog wouldn’t touch this food unfortunately. He’s not usually picky but this was really not to his liking.

Great dog food. Smells a little strong at first but you get used to it

Love this food!

This food is full of good nutrients and doesn’t upset our tiny puppies’ tummies.

Too many crumbs!

We've been longtime Canidae customers, but the last 4 bags that we've gotten from Chewy have way too many crumbs and it ruins the food. I've been putting the food through a strainer to help the situation, but that's a pain and doesn't solve the problem. We canceled our autoship.

Great food

My puppy scarfs this down. I did lots of research & went through several brands before this one. I’m going to continue using it.

Starvation Diet

As noted by others, my dog would rather starve than eat this. It just sits in the bowl day after day. Had such high hopes, too.

Not made for my dog

I bought this for my Chihuahua mix, thinking she'll like it. But I notice that she would prefer starving herself than to eat this. I don't recommend this brand.
