Precautions

Please provide plenty of fresh water when giving any chew or treat. Because this is a natural treat, its sizing, color and appearance may vary—this is normal. You may also notice a natural scent and oil while your pal chews; this natural oil may stain your furniture, carpeting or other surfaces. To prevent injury and choking hazard, please watch your pet while they enjoy this treat and be sure to choose the appropriate size chew. If this product splinters or develops sharp edges, throw it away immediately for your pet’s safety.

What Makes Buffalo Meat So Healthy?

What Makes Buffalo Meat So Healthy?

You may not know about all the health benefits that buffalo meat has to offer. It's packed with omega-3 and contains calcium, potassium and vitamins B6 and B12. In addition, it provides a natural source of CoQ10 enzyme to support the heart. As an alternative to beef, it has 70-90% less fat, 50% less cholesterol, less sodium and fewer calories.

More Time to Chew

These long-lasting treats are seriously satisfying for four-legged meat lovers, because they let your dog exercise his instinctual chewing urges. And they're an easy way to help reduce tartar and maintain healthy teeth and gums. Dogs get more chew time when they enjoy a Canine Caviar braided bully stick or tantalizing rib bone.

Naturally Raised for Natural Treats

Naturally Raised for Natural Treats

Canine Caviar uses Indian buffalo that are raised on open land and feed on natural grass. They're never given antibiotics, and because buffalo grow faster than cows, there's no need for growth hormones. This human-grade meat undergoes the process to be kosher and certified halal. It's the best possible source for a naturally delicious treat.

About Canine Caviar

Hard to break into smaller pieces

    By on

Our dogs enjoy this trail mix, but I find it hard to break or even cut into smaller pieces to be used sparingly. If you are willing to feed your dog some pretty large pieces of this pricey treat, this could work for you. I hoped to use it as training treats or to entice a fussy eater to finish her meal, but with it being so difficult to break down into usable pieces, this product is not working for me. Dogs like it, not so much this owner.

    organ trail mix

All of my dogs run to the closet, when I get home, where I keep these treats. They drool until they have it in their mouth. Happy pups!

My Bassets go crazy over these!

    By on

I just have to pick up the bag and they get super excited for these treats. They smell kind of funny, but the dogs love them. Both of them are on an alkaline based diet and this is one of the treats they can have!

    Smells bad, dogs love them!

    By on

These things smelled terrible even before opening the bag, but the dogs go crazy for them! keep them sealed or your house will smell like a slaughter house, but I haven't seen anything like these at the pet store. They have cow lung but this is a mix of several different smelly parts. Will probably have to order these again!

    Dogs Love These

    By on

All of my Anatolian Shepherds love these, they go nuts for them and wolf them down immediately. My dogs are fed organic foods, with raw and freeze-dried rotated in. These are pure meat with no additives or any other weird stuff- a very healthy addition to their diets.

    Dogs Go Nuts For These

    By on

Very simple treat that my dogs just go nuts for. I've only seen them react like that for real meat.

    only good for some dogs

    By on

I only give 3 stars because there are better choices for organ treats. My 3 dogs LOVE these treats but one of my dogs got loose stools and my vet told me to stick to Turkey for pure animal organs, they are less rich. Not all dogs will have this reaction but my dogs have allergies so I have to be careful and limited on what I give them.

    Great for small dogs

    By on

I got these for my german shepherd to try and unfortunately they come in small 2-6" pieces. They didn't last long and he swallowed some of the smaller pieces. Would be wonderful for a smaller dog!!

    my 3 dogs loved them

    By on

My dogs had grown tired of various treats so I decided to try these. Luckily they preferred these over others I have been giving them. Bonus that they are full of healthy benefits - grass-fed and free-range buffalo. It doesn't get better than that!
