    Delicious Delight for Dogs

They should call this Canine Crack! My dog is crazy about this food. Put it on top of any other food and he gobbles it down in seconds.

    Boo boo the pup

    By on

I usually cook home cooked meals for my pup, but on occasion ill give her canine caviar. It’s the only dog food ill give her. Nutritionally its a great dog food. She also suffers from colitis, and she occasionally still has flare ups, and this dog food, no matter what protein source will not give her any issues. Sometimes even during a flare up, if my other tricks don’t work the hard kibble mixed with the soft will help her pass regular firm stools again. Ive tried all but the goat I believe and my dog doesn’t like the consistency of the duck. It very watered down, so being the great mom I am I hand feed it to her...but she likes the taste .

    Duck Variety Canine Caviar

    By on

I was looking for a limited ingredient, high quality canned food - both to add to my dogs kibble, and to put his medication in. I purchased the Duck variety. Unfortunately the product is too soupy/runny to hide medication in when first opened up. It does thicken up a bit when placed in the refrigerator, so that helps, but you can basically pour it out of the can like gravy when you first open it. The can does say to shake well before opening so maybe this is the consistency they were going for. My dog likes the flavor okay and I love the limited ingredient list but I'm on the fence about whether or not I'll purchase again.

    Quality Control

This has been the best food! However, as I seen someone say above something is going on. The quality has been horrible! Very liquid filled and definitely not the same product we used to get!

    QUALITY CONTROL IS SLIPPING

For several years, we have been feeding our German Shepherds Canine Caviar... both dry and canned. However, the Iast 2 cases of the canned DUCK variety is almost semi-liquid. The consistency is so bad that I don't even need a spoon. I can pur straight out of the can. It is messym The worst part is that my dogs don't eat it. They went on for 5 days without eating anything and for the last 2 days eating nothing except dry variery; until now I have always mixed dry with canned. I also called another retailer who said that no one has yet filed a similar complaint. I am getting a case from them. If that also turns out to be unsatisfactory, I am calling the company. Good food that my pups like

    By on

Had to make a switch when the usual flavor of Canine Caviar wasn't available. My Yorkie pups are sometimes fussy when trying something new but no problem with this. They really like it and have no negative issues with the change. Healthy ingredients are a plus for this brand.

    He loves this

Our Yorkie has cancer and a holistic vet told us about Canine Caviar. We switched to Canine Caviar and our Yorkie is really feeling better and much more active than he has been. With the cancer protocol he is on and the new food, we are seeing some very encouraging results.

    Canine Caviar Duck

I was disappointed that the canned food was rather soupy. I expected more substance to the food, more pate than soup.
