    Highly recommend

My dog loves it and I feel good giving her the quality it has. It is pricey but would rather spend extra on food than at the vet.

    Use as a supplement only.

    By on

I was surprised to learn this item is for use as a supplement only and not a basic diet. It is easy to digest but far fattier than Zignature goat wet formula. Please consider offering Zignature goat wet formula in canned product. This is available for retail purchase in Virginia.

A good source of protein from different varieties. A little pricey, but it is an unusual meat source.

We usually purchase the duck version of this product and my dogs are obsessed with it. I use it as a mixer for their Canine Caviar dry kibble. Since the duck version is temporarily having production issues, we needed to purchase another flavor and decided on this one. My one dog that really needs to use the food as a mixer doesn't like the goat flavor at all. She turns her nose up at it and has actually begun losing weight due to eating less. My other dog that doesn't need the mixer but gets it out of fairness seems to like it, but it is clear he prefers the duck. I do like the ingredients and I trust Canine Caviar. Their foods have noticeably improved the health of my dogs. I recommend this We usually purchase the duck version of this product and my dogs are obsessed with it. My chihuahua loves it!

Due to my dog's mainly yeast triggered itching, was looking for a non- kibble gf 1 ingredient food with a low fat percentage. This Canine Caviar Goat fits that bill better than anything else I found. I've noticed after just a week without any yeast-feeding potatoes, she's scratching much less already! 5% fat is still a bit high for her, as she gains weight very easily. I have to give her a bit less than recommended for her weight. I add a nice helping of a mixture of fresh ground organic vegetables to each meal. Also I add the Holistic Blend vitamins and minerals sold here @ Chewy. She loves her food!! I highly recommend this product. Btw, I froze about 1/3 of the 2nd can in a freezer bag. Great for Dogs with food allergies

My dog was only able to eat certain fish wet food, this has been a great alternative and actually been working for her. I am going to see what else this brand has for my dog who can't eat grains, chicken, beef, bison, rabbit, kangaroo, and numerous other things.

    BACK TO NATURAL!

    By on

I add this to their dinner meal, just a few scoops along with the dry Special Needs. This food is low in fat & protein, perfect for the elderly dog with pancreatic & liver problems, as well as the overweight sensitive digestion dog. For the first time in her 5 years she has normal stools! No more cow patties!!! Both our dogs are happy!

My dogs have serious food sensitivities and to all of the most common food sources. So, I am always on the lookout for alternatives. I am delighted to say that Canine Caviar and their canned grain free dog food with 97% Goat works for us! I love the limited ingredients: goat is nearly all there is. There is water for processing, guar gum for thickening and ovine plasma for binding (and additional animal protein). Protein content is 11% by guaranteed analysis, slightly above average for premium limited ingredient foods. By itself it is only a supplemental food, not a nutritionally complete recipe. So, I add a daily multivitamin supplement by Holistic Blend, also purchased through Chewy.com My dogs have serious food sensitivities and to all of the most common food sources. My four dogs went nuts for Brushtail can wet food. Even my picky eater gobbled it up. Definitely will buy again.
