3 Dogs did NOT like it

Bought for my dog that was battling cancer. She did not like it from the first smell. So I tried with my other 2 dogs and same result. Right from the smell of it they wouldn't try it. I did put it on there food with a bit of water. Waste of money. Would not buy again. I have a whole package I am throwing away.

Turkey Tail Trial

So my dog is crazy picky and not food motivated to begin with so I can’t just add this to his food. He won’t eat it with bone broth or cottage cheese or peanut butter. I've found that I’m able to get this in him with sardines (in water) most days but 5 scoops is a lot! There is no way we would be able to comply with the recommended increased dosage for the first few weeks that the manufacturer recommends. Research indicates wonderful benefits with these dogs so I’m hoping he learns to like it. We are using it to see if his environmental allergies, skin issue and GI issues improve.

Turkey tail mushroom

I cannot believe how much energy my 19 year old boxer has on this product and I have been recommending it to all my dog owner friends. My vet told me to give it to my dog as a follow up to his surgery.

My dog won't touch it

So I bought this to add to food for my 14 yr old rescue recently diagnosed with lymphoma. She won't touch the food I mixed it in. Now I'm stuck with it. Just a note of warning. Not every dog will like it.

Dog won't eat it

My dog, who eats almost ANYTHING.....hates it. I have tried it in just about everything. It needs to be in pills or a better way than just loose powder. The only thing that I can get her to eat it with is gravy. NO idea if it actually has any benefits at this time.

Very disapointed in dosage instructions

It says to measure in teaspoons but they give you a scoop with no indication of how much the scoop holds. I worry they aren't very serious about their product.

Working for my pup

My mixed breed is going on 15 with a liver tumor. He has been getting Turkey tail for a few months, mixed with peanut butter, in a Kong. He loves it, and is a picky eater. Liver enzymes are stable. Time will tell.

Improved immune system

I have both my dogs on this and it's works amazing. My male dog kept getting a really bad hot spot between his digits and had a small growth on the bottom of same paw. Vet had me keep an eye on it and meds for irritation between his digits. I started him on this and his paw has not had any issues since. Also since having my dogs on this, I work at a doggie day care and over the summer we had a bad out break of kennel cough. Nearly every dog ended up getting it. My two did not get kennel cough, never showed any symptom. Both have now been taking this for over 6 months, although I have cut back on suggested serving for dog weight they each get one scoop a day as opposed to 2. I do add a bit of warm water to form a gravy and they always finish thier food. Great product for dogs.

Too soon to tell

He is eating it, so that's good. He has severe allergies so I'm hoping that it will help to boost his immune system.

Deep Appreciation

My dog, Sadie, was diagnosed as having a tumor in her stomach. I opted not to have a surgery to remove it. About that time I saw a documentary on Netflix entitled Fantastic Fungi. A researcher and grower talked about how Turkey Tail Mushroom helped his Mom to recover from breast cancer. I started looking for the product for animals wanting to give it a try. Lo and behold I found it. I also found out about turmeric golden paste. I used both products following the directions for Sadie. Sadie, being a beagle, had great appetite and willing to try new flavors. I put her on fresh meat and veggie diet with the supplements. It is most unfortunately Sadie, at 14-year-old, was too sick that I had to put her down after all. However I am most grateful that I found the pet industry has made the human grade alternative products available to help our pets. Sadie meant the world to me as I understand other pets likewise to their owners as well. After I informed Chewy I would no longer need their auto shipping service, I received a surprised bouquet of sympathy roses from Chewy. Throughout the years I had Sadie, I met so many nice people. Some of them helped me find her, keep her overnight and return Sadie to me when she ran away. One city policeman did just that when he found Sadie sleeping under a tree in the park where Sadie took off running away. There were other dog owners noticing Sadie was having difficulty walking home with me would offer me a ride or keep an eye on her while I went home to get the family car to pick her up. My vet and his staff were so tender and attentive with Sadie in trying to treat her. There is a hole in my heart with Sadie's passing. However every warm experience I have had associated with Sadie fill my heart with warmth and fond memories of Sadie and wonderful people we have met along the way. I will do my part to help other animals. Thank you all.
