Had high hopes but my dog doesnt care for it

Dealing with an auto immune in my Toller and came across this item. The powder has a distinctive smell (and apparently taste) and my guy struggles to consume it. And he's never been what anyone would describe as a picky eater. I have added bone broth in his food as well to help coat the food but he reluctantly eats now and most of the powder mix ends up at the bottom of his bowl. Will keep trying it in the hopes he comes to like it. It's a pricy item to just give up on.

IT REALLY WORKS

I bought this product in April after my dog was diagnosed with cancer and Pericardial effusion around his heart. The vet told us that he may have 30 days left. My daughter researched alternative medicinal help for him and found that Turkey Tail powder will help with his immunity and help fight the cancer. The Turkey Tail powder along with the Yunnan Baiyao for the effusion gave my dog 5 more months with the energy of a youngster for me. Thank you for carrying the Turkey Tail Chewy. If you are skeptical still try it from what I read I’m the reviews your dog will either love it or hate it. My dog didn’t like it at first so I force fed it to him during the initial treatment by making it into little soft nuggets. (Add drops of water until you get a play dough consistency and form into nuggets) but after that he wasn’t so fussy about it. So if you your pet doesn’t like it you need to make THAT decision. I read on some of the reviews they gave up after trying it but the ones that didn’t gave their dogs an extended life, some up to a year or more. I highly recommend this product. Please try try this. It works. Unfortunately he passed away yesterday from a blood clot but there was NO cancer. Thank you again Chewy.

Turkey Tail Mushroom

I don't think Blitzen appreciates the flavor, he seems to shy away from his meal when I add it. However he will eat it as long as I mix in a little canned food or something to cover the flavor of the mushroom. I think this would work better in a capsule. Also the dosing is written in teaspoons, but the scoop is labeled with CCs. This may make accurate dosing complicated for some.

working well

Started 13 yo dog with bone cancer. The double dose that you are instructed to do at first gave her pretty severe diarrhea. stopped TT for 5 days. Restarted at one scoop per day. gives her energy and she is more playful

Dog hates it

I am really trying to make sure my dachshund who is 11 years old will take this, it was recommended by my vet. I recently lost a 10-year-old dog to lymphatic cancer and my vet recommended this for my 11-year-old dog as a aid to better health .He is healthy now but he is 11 years old and I was concerned that he may get cancer as well, so I asked her opinion and she recommended this. However I have tried hiding it in food and he finds it and spits it out I’m trying to work on using pill pockets to disguise it in. I’ve tried hauling out hotdogs to hide it he still finds it.

Worked for us

Canine matrix turkey tail formula gave my dog and I 9 extra months together after she was diagnosed with inoperable metastatic thyroid cancer. It kept her energy up and feeling great, if we missed a day you could tell. After being told she only had a month or two left by the vet and then getting 11 more with her, I am grateful to this company. She passed away yesterday and while I am heartbroken I am also positive the canine matrix (along with cbd oil) made a huge difference for my girl.

3 Dogs did NOT like it

Bought for my dog that was battling cancer. She did not like it from the first smell. So I tried with my other 2 dogs and same result. Right from the smell of it they wouldn't try it. I did put it on there food with a bit of water. Waste of money. Would not buy again. I have a whole package I am throwing away.

Turkey Tail Trial

So my dog is crazy picky and not food motivated to begin with so I can’t just add this to his food. He won’t eat it with bone broth or cottage cheese or peanut butter. I've found that I’m able to get this in him with sardines (in water) most days but 5 scoops is a lot! There is no way we would be able to comply with the recommended increased dosage for the first few weeks that the manufacturer recommends. Research indicates wonderful benefits with these dogs so I’m hoping he learns to like it. We are using it to see if his environmental allergies, skin issue and GI issues improve.

My dog won't touch it

So I bought this to add to food for my 14 yr old rescue recently diagnosed with lymphoma. She won't touch the food I mixed it in. Now I'm stuck with it. Just a note of warning. Not every dog will like it.
