    Fishy but tasty treat!

    By on

So I feed our 25 lb shiba taste of the wild bison dry food and wanted to fold in fish/salmon as part of his diet but did not want him to have that fishy breath. Came across this and gave it to try and he loves it! Keep in mind this food is a lot denser so a little goes a long way. Instead of feeding as a meal we have been using this as addtl training kibble/snacks. The food chunks are definitely on the larger side. Our dog is also not food motivated half the time but he at least has a more positive reaction with these tasty fish ones! No issues chewing on these either. They go great in a small Kong!

Both my small dogs love it!

    By on

First off you’ll want to rehydrate the food with plenty of water, to get the right texture. One of my dogs has a dental issue so I made sure the food was softened up before serving. I love the ingredient quality of this food. I just wish there was more info on how long is the ideal time to soak the food in warm water before serving though. The dogs obviously love the taste they gobbled it down so quickly they were barely chewing their food haha

    quality ingredients, very hard kibble

    By on

So the food was a lot harder then I expected a dehydrated kibble to be. I soak it over night and break it apart so my pups can eat it (ends up looking like ground hammer) I do have picky eaters but they did prefer it over their normal food. (still serve a mix of there new as old food to them). They usually nibble all day at there dish. But now they eat all there served food in one sitting. Overall happy with product.

    Not for small dogs.

    By on

I have two small dogs and they struggled with eating this food. The size of the kibble was too big for them and the bites were hard for them to chew. I do appreciate the healthy ingredients, not sure if the claim it is suitable for human consumption should be tried though.

Hard, have been smoking it for several hours, still hard. Too hard for my puppy to eat with her puppy teeth
