I have several ferals I feed wet food every morning is it okay to crush capstar up and mix it in their breakfast?
Answer by ChewyJul 08, 2020
While it is possible to crush this treatment and place within food, if multiple cats are eating from the same dish(es) then they may consume too much or too little of the treatment for it to work safely and effectively.

Works for a quick knock down

Quickly eliminates fleas on cats. Not for eliminating fleas in the environment and will not prevent re-infestation, so that will have to be addressed simultaneously, through other means. Has been vet okayed for use on pregnant cats or those with kittens (check with your vet, of course), rather than using 'spot on' type or environmentally applied powders that the kittens will get into.

It’s scary good

Bought this because I wanted something easy to give my cat since he goes outside everyday. Gave it to him at night and I woke up to dead fleas on his bed. They literally drop like flies. Absolutely worth the money.

Do not bother

Just pulled it out of the box and set it up didn’t start leaking till I turned it on, it has run out of water within 10 min of it just sitting. Highly don’t recommend, complete waste of money!

Works as described

We rescued to kittens and needed to ensure they had no fleas before introducing them to our current furfamily. This worked great! It killed any and all that were on them. It’s not flea prevention but does help knock them out before starting the flea prevention medication.

So happy I tried this!

Works great! Very satisfied. Have been using it everyday for the past 3 days and there hasn't been a flea sighting since. Also applied Frontline as extra prevention and my cat is happy and relaxed now.

Started working within about 30 minutes and my boy was flea free THAT day. He still gets them here and there but the pills have helped us manage it much much easier and it's nice to see him back to his old self. They DROP off of him. This is amazing!

Best for MY cats

I no longer use topical poisons due to the last use caused all my animals to get sick and lose fur. Good and safe product.

Good treatment!

It works really well! Had a bad infestation when my dog brought fleas into the home but this stuff worked within one day! They had stopped itching almost completely within that day, only reason why i didn’t give it 5 stars is once you run out and the fleas are still in the carpet/house they get the fleas again almost immediately, but it works when the fleas are gone!

Excellent! It works

I use these tablets on 4 stray cats that come onto my porch to be feed. Since I fear fleas in my home the tablets serve the purpose.

I love it!

I love this it’s really kitten friendly I used it for my two kittens and it worked like a charm, it will be hard for them to get used to taking in the mouth alone, but other then that it’s a small pills and it works really good, not even 30 minutes it worked faster then I expected the flees are all gone!
