Works great, read the directions!!!
By Steph on Jan 31, 2021
This is NOT a preventative and does NOT stop the life cycle for fleas. The complaints I see seem to be for lack of knowledge of the product and the flea life cycle. Capstar will not solve all your problems, but if you have fleas, this is a great start. This kills the living adult fleas to avoid further egg laying. They were literally dropping off my cats within half an hour. However, we also bathed them, dosed them with Advantage, going to deworm them tomorrow, and have been cleaning the house top to bottom each day to break the cycle. This product works for what it says it will do. Read the directions/packaging. Kills fleas fast!
By Toopoortoaffordrescue on Jan 25, 2021
I have been fighting fleas for a few months now, and the infestation has been severe. I've always used Revolution for flea control -- it worked great out West -- but moving to the rural South changed everything, and I believe it has to do with the warm, humid climate here and perhaps fleas developing a tolerance for Selamectin . (A friend who lives about 40 miles away said she has experienced the same problem with Revolution lately. We're both upset about this, as we have always trusted Revolution and had excellent results until now.) Anyway, out of desperation, I tried Capstar, and it killed the fleas pronto! Excellent Product
By Christine on Feb 21, 2021
My dog (9 pound Chiweenie) and cat (12 pound domestic) both got fleas after my dog played with a friend’s dog who unfortunately had fleas and they didn’t know. I gave this product to my dog and cat after trying for a month to use sprays that did not work to remove the fleas. After only one use, the fleas were gone! Highly recommend!

Best investment
By MsDee on Jan 27, 2021
My two cats got infested with fleas and I tried everything trying to get rid of them. I honestly thought my female was going to die. My oldest son told me to try this product because it worked on his kitties. So I ordered it. Within days after the first pill I could see it was working. I now have my sweet furbabies back. I'm going through second round just to make sure they are totally protected. It's worth the money to save my babies. Muffin and Biscuit are happy kitties again.

do not waste your money
By nathalie on Feb 11, 2021
I bought this due to the amazing reviews. I’m pretty bummed it didn’t end up working for me. So I have 3 indoor cats. I recently started feeding a random stray out in the yard, & eventually started bringing fleas inside the house. The medication did not work. I ended up having to buy a flea shampoo, that did the job but was a hassle. LOOK INTO SOMETHING ELSE.

It's Safe For Pets And It Works!!!!!!
By Droe on Jan 21, 2021
This was finally my last resort before making an appointment for the vets! This product worked, was safe to use and saw results fairly quickly! We did however do a second does the following day, and gave another does after a week. When using any product for a flea situation, you must be sure to address all of the surrounding areas of the home, including closets, beds and all hiding spots with powders and sprays... wash and clean!!! This process unfortunately took us months to be ride of and certainly not relive ever again!

Crushed these up
By CatMamma on Jan 28, 2021
Put one of these all crushed up in our stray kitties wet food. He's had 2 now and I don't see him scratching anymore. They must have worked! He scratched every 10 seconds before the treatment now I never see him scratch. I will also have plenty more for the warmer seasons coming. I just wish he'd let me hold him to check for sure.

Capstar for Cats
By tampacatmom on Feb 2, 2021 Top 100 Contributor
Capstar is always a good product to have on hand when you foster for a cat (or dog) rescue. Most of the cats and kittens come into rescue after they are found outside and usually they have fleas. Here in Fl fleas are a serious problem. Capstar is safe even for young kittens and kills any fleas quickly.

Cats Love Capstar
By Range on Jan 2, 2021
My cat, Happy, is so relieved not to have me putting smelly greasy toxic chemicals on his neck for fleas - that eventually don't work. Capstar- I just crush the tiny pill and mix into his wet food. Bam the fleas drop off in one day. It doesn't kill eggs so you have to use it if more fleas develop, but there is no limit to using Capstar in terms of his health. Yea! Eventually the fleas are all gone and Happy hasn't suffered at all. And so we have a better more trusting relationship.
