We use this as a preventative measure for a very sensitive cat. Our cat had an episode of fleas 5 years ago and is so allergic to the bites she began tearing her flesh. It took 3 months to recover fully from a single episode. We began using this in place of topical flea treatments that only irritated her more due to her sensitive skin. We have never had an infestation since and her coat is full and healthy again.
Only negative is that she gets extra drowsey after a dose but the vet advised this can occur with capstar.
Worth it as long as she never has another emergency visit/ episode.

Where has this stuff been all these years?! This tiny pill worked within 6 hours and our cats returned to their normal selves with no more scratching and biting at themselves. A comb-out showed no live fleas. None. This is a great way to handle a “flea overload” between the monthly application of their flea med. Oh — our vet said she couldn’t get Capstar for half the price of what we could get it at Chewy.com, and recommended we get it there. Lucky for us we’re already Chewy.com autoship customers!
Worth the money

I just moved into my 1st house but the renters before me had inside animals just like I do but they left fleas in the house so I spent money on a fogger but still fleas and both of my dogs were scratching like crazy. The vet was too expensive so I looked at these reviews and took a chance and so glad I did within a day I could tell a difference. A+ from me. Definitely recommend
Works as Stated, all fleas will be "Off" your pet!

I recommend using this for your pet, "AND" treating your home at the "same time"! Vacuum, vacuum, vacuum!!! Get your pet out of the house and treat for fleas thoroughly. If your pet has fleas, they are also in your home, as larvae if not adults. Your animal will continue to suffer if you do not treat their sleeping area and home. Zodiac Flea Carpet and Upholstery, or Adams Flea Carpet and Upholstery are great choices, inexpensive, and much better than treating your pet daily, they also kill fleas in carpet and furniture for 7-9 months. I took one star due to the fact that not all fleas die that vacate the pet, although if you vacuum and treat your home, this would not be an issue.
Fleas be gone.

After 13 years of having our dog, this year he got fleas for the first time. We tried front line, another product that was recommended by the pet store, sprayed the house down and still he was scratching away and still had fleas.
I spoke with our groomer who recommeded Capstar and after two doses of capstar the fleas were all gone and they have not returned. Awesome product!
Product does not work on cats!

This product is a Wast of Good money!!! I used a six tab treatment. That’s the entire pack, giving one tab per day. Crushing one tab putting in my cat’ food for six days. I saw my cat suffer even more than when this treatment was started. A Flea collar was also worn at the same time. The product was a Wast of good money!!!

I spotted a flea or 2 on my GSD and decided to get this on the fly. It had great reviews and a very good price.
I haven't finished the pack yet, but after the first month he has already stopped scratching. For follow-through I will continue to use this product to ensure he remains flea-free.
I have also purchased the small dog version to ensure my smaller pooches and kitten don't get the fleas while we try to exterminate those from the big boy (GSD).
Only used once and quite a difference

I have been using flea drops on my cats for years and they work good for about one week. After that they start scratching and biting again. I used only one Capstar and it been two weeks now and my cats seem to be still free of most fleas. Since you can give them more often than once a month, I may give them another dose soon. I gave only a four star because I've only used one tab so far.
Wow! This product works great.

I have 3 indoor cats and one indoor/outdoor cat. Many treatments administered to the shoulder area work fine, but with the outdoor cat bringing in fresh fleas they just infest the other cats heads. Within two hours of crushing the tablets and mixing with the indoor cats food I could see the effects. All three indoor cats started scratching and licking all over. The nice thing is the fleas were just falling off of all three.

Found a great deal on Chewy.com and gave brand a try. Shipment arrived very quickly. Product instructions were not as detailed as I expected. Nola did have any adverse reactions and product somewhat worked.
