Strong gate!
I brought this gate to stop my cat from running outside when I opening the door. Its a strong gate and it looks beautiful. I easy to move. So far it working well. Delivery came on time.
Great purchase
Purchased the gate to keep our 4 pound Yorkie from going up the stairs. Gate came already assembled which was nice. The gate is beautiful and works great. 100% satisfied with the purchase.
Fix the Hinges!
This is a lovely gate - unique and decorative as much as it is functional, and very sturdy. The one thing I really dislike about it is the hinges. They are steel and the look of them is awful with this gate. For a gate in this price range, the color of the hinges should be brass, bronze, or brown, to compliment/blend in with the gate. I have this gate at the foot of my stairs and since the hinges open in only one way, its placement/configuration does not allow for me to turn it around so the hinges are not visible. I would suggest that one be careful in considering how this gate needs to be placed in your space before ordering it.
Arrived damaged - with obvious touch-up paint all over the place
This is beautiful online. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged, with scratches in multiple places on the top, chipped edges and with obvious touch-up paint all over the place where the cut-outs are. It is also exceedingly heavy. I cannot recommend it and will be returning it. Too bad - it could have been really pretty, but for this price, forget it.
Works well
This gate is solid, sturdy and looks very nice. We get so many compliments on it. It is heavy, and we needed to remove a panel for use. Having that option is very nice. I think this will last a long time. I like not having to build something into the doorway. Plastic gates have been flimsy. Would recommend!
Gorgeous gates
Purchased two of these gates recently and they look terrific. Visitors compliment them too. Solidly made. Very good for small breed dogs although they need to be positioned so that your dog doesn't nudge them open. My 12 pound Havanese learned to do that quickly, so I angled them differently for more security.
