Best You Can Get
I find Carefresh to be a little dusty (but the best brand of all the options), but I only change bedding when my hamsters are out of their enclosure and turn on the air purifier to be safe. One big bag goes a long way, I use half a bag on a 40gallon fish tank (with aspen mixed in). If you are spot cleaning the cage on a daily basis, this is pretty good at keeping odors down, and the white color makes it easy to find pee spots.
Going downhill
Carefresh bedding has been my go-to for years. I've had many small animals and have always used this bedding. Lately it has just been going downhill. I've had packages that were all dust, weird spongey pieces, mildew smell and it seems like the texture has been off. I want to keep using this, but the issues have been consistent.

Good stuff
The product is nice. Soft and ya get a lot. Its not dusty at all.. I only have one bunny, so this may not last as long for more pets or bigger pets, depending of course.
It is a bit high in price with the shipping. So I went to my local pet store and compared. It is cheaper to buy any bedding at a local store and I will be from now on. It's only $19 for a bigger bag and no shipping cost.
However, this is a great product if ya don't want to go to the local store and rather order online.
I am very glad I switched litters for my bunny, she is much happier. It did take a bit to get delivered though, but that's typical I believe this time of year.

Getting kind of skimpy!
I love Carefresh pet bedding but it really seems like their quality is lacking these days. They don't even fill the bags up properly. Their 50L bags are more like a 40L. Carefresh wants top dollar for their product so I expect top quality! It's not Chewy's fault for this. It's Carefresh's responsibility to give us good quality. Shame on you Carefresh!
Smells bad and not white
I have been buying this product for the last year and a half and my most recent order is definitely not the same. It smells weird and is off color - also feels almost damp.
I might try one more time and then look for another brand if it's not how it used to be.
This Bedding
There is something about this bedding that was disliked , it was clumpy and didnt seem to absorb my fur babies pee - upon changing the cage , it was a sloppy mess of wetness that smelled so bad ..
Great for guinea pigs!
Good shipping and fair price! Products are exactly as advertised. Never been disappointed.

good for rat litter box
part of the deal with my boyfriend agreeing to pet rats was litter training them, this is what i use in the corner litter tray. i have caught one of my dumdums eating the bedding on an occasion, but overall it does what i want it to.
Great bedding
This bedding is wonderful for rabbits. For those saying your cage smells you probably don't clean your cage enough. That's not the company's fault. The only thing is 50L isn't a lot for three rabbits. I would really appreciate a bigger size like 75L or maybe even 100L.

Something changed
We've been purchasing the white 60L size Carefresh bedding for my daughter's rabbit for the last 8 years. However for some reason when we received our last Autoship delivery, the bedding was no longer white but brown. While this didn't bother me (or the rabbit as far as I could tell) it did bother my wife and daughter who said it had a bad odor. I just looked and it appears that the white formulation is no longer available in the 60L package and more expensive than the brown. Something must have changed because we always order and receive the white version in the 60L package (it's been one of the items in our Autoship forever) but now it's only available in the 50L size. I'm guessing that the price must have increased and Chewy, instead of providing us with the new, smaller 50L package, must have substituted the 60L brown instead.
