BAD quality. so disapointed
Bought on Chewy in March 2022. It has been slowly falling apart since we bought it. The screw/little plastic pieces would come loose and come off, we tried to fix it many times but it kept coming apart. we have it in a door way and literally gently move it to get in and out, I have no clue why it is falling apart. Then today, randomly there is a piece of wood that split off and its sharp, so we have no choice to throw it away. I know we bought this awhile back but wanted to share since it was such bad quality.
Dog gate
The package was damaged and thus it damaged the gate. I had to touch up the wood with stain due to the4 damage. It is a beautiful gate but very disappointed that it came damaged and ruined the wood where the wires on the gate came out of the track and wrecked the wood.
Perfect for My Needs
This gate was very easy to set up and exactly what I needed to keep my new puppy out of trouble! I was struggling to find a gate that would work for the 68" opening to our front room, but this fit the bill with extra room to spare. I love that I can adjust it to fit other spaces as well, like my deck, especially since it's free standing. It's not exactly "travel friendly" -- it's 28" tall and nearly 3 feet wide when it's at it's smallest -- but could certainly be taken with you if you have the space to accommodate it in your vehicle. It looks way nicer than other pet gates I've had in the past, and for the size, the price can't be beat. I'm very happy with this purchase!
Wide meassurements does not take into account the base
The minimum width states its 40" but its actually 42 with the base. I was looking for a free standing gate I could use to block my puppy from going up the stairs. The opening is 40.6 inches so I thought the minimum width of this gate would be perfect . I was so dissapointed when we assembled it and noticed that with the base, it would not fit, it actually leaves a gap where my puppy can get through. We meassure and end to end with the base is a minimal length of 42 inches. Now I have to submit this for return, which is always a hassle
Great help for containing rescue pup
We can now gated the doorway to the entry hall to contain a new rescue pup. Well made. Like the adjustable style.
COULDN'T ASK FOR A BETTER FIT
We needed something to be free standing because we don't want anything drilled into the walls. This was a perfect in fact i bought 2 more!
Freestanding Gate
Easy to assemble and is very strong and sturdy. I got it to keep my grandson out of the kitchen but didn't want any holes in the walls. This works perfect and he can't move it.
