NOT recommended for use with children. Install according to manufacturer’s manufactures instructions. ALWAYS install and use [gate/enclosures] as directed using all required parts. STOP using when a child or pet can climb over or dislodge the gate. Use only with the locking/latching mechanism securely engaged. To prevent falls, NEVER use at top of stairs. NEVER use to keep child or pet away from pool. This is a Pet Gate, but when used with children, the small pet door must remain closed and securely latched. Strangulation hazard: pets can force themselves into very small openings; use this gate with pets whose heads will not fit into openings in the gate, between the gate and floor, or between the gate and wall. NEVER leave child or pet unattended. Check the gate regularly to see if all the hardware and mountings are tightened. Do not use if any components are missing or damaged. Adult assembly required.

We needed a gate to keep our dog out of the cat room. This shorter metal gate works great for us. I can easily step over it when needed. Happy customer.
This thing is so tiny it barely fits in my regular sized doorway The extensions for it aren’t even available to buy, it says it may have been discontinued. Terribly wobbly because it doesn’t fit and now I have to return it
This has been a great solution to keeping our puppy out of the room where I keep the litter box. The room is also the cats safe place. The door makes it easy for her to get in & out. Please know that our 4 month old puppy is the size of a medium dog.
While this gate is definitely too short to keep most pets from jumping over, if they feel inclined, it has it's uses. I like the steel bar design for keeping the cats from climbing or scratching on it. My only complaint with this one is that it doesn't seem as stable with all the extensions added. The joints give it kind of a wobbly quality as you install it. Once it's properly installed, it's more secure. I just wouldn't put it where a larger pet or a small child might put their weight against it, as the joints feel like they might give way under enough force.
This is not 31 inches. It will attach to a 31 inch doorway, but leaves 5 inch gaps on each side.
If you plan on ever needing this to be easily moved, avoid! Falls apart, not convenient. I suggest their other gate “mini tuffy expandable with pet door”. Same company , better design, cheaper.
Yep. This is the one you want for separating those small dogs from the cat treat plates at that special time. Low enough for humans to easily step over, tall enough to keep scrounging Yorkies at bay.
Gate is only 24 inches tall. My 12 week old puppy can pull himself up and over. What a waster of money and time.
I thought I’d have SOME use for this gate but nope. No hallway is as narrow as 27” (which it needs to be because of gaps) and yet ridiculously it’s about an inch to big to fit inside a standard interior doorway!!! Who made this? Did anyone ever test it? I’m sitting here reflecting on how this could have possibly ever been put into production with so little thought. Enigmatic.
This gate is high enough that my senior cats can easily jump over it while keeping my puppy out of my bedroom (where the cat food is). It seems to be well made and I like that the little door can be left open at night while puppy is sleeping in his crate.
