Awful. Disappointing. Frustrating

My dog is on Carprofen for her arthritis in her back legs. Responded incredibly well to prescription from vets. Wanted to save some money so ordered some here. Gave her these for two days and her legs started declining again so badly. Called vet and for more Carprofen from them. When that bottle ran out I figured I would try these again since I had a full bottle. Again after two days saw a huge decline. Her back legs kept falling. Immediately called vets for another refill from them and I will never try the chewy version again. Such a complete waste of money

Great value!

It’s so nice that there now is a generic chewable substitution for brand-name Rimadyl. My vet charged me nearly 5 dollars for each 100 mg brand-name Rimadyl but chewy‘s price for this generic chewable was about 1/10 the cost at the Vet. And my dog happily gobbled it down without a pill pocket or wrapping it in a piece of cheese. We needed some right away from the vet so I had to buy a weeks worth from her, but she did authorize a much larger supply that I can keep at home in case Clementine needs pain medication. And it’s much cheaper per dose from here.

BAD NEWS

Our 9 yr. Old PIT/LAB " ROMEO " was diagnosed with an aggressive form of bone cancer. We want to keep him with us for as long as possible. These pills were prescribed by our vet to help with pain & inflamation. As long as he seems to be relatively pain free we will continue to give them to him. When he shows signs of distress we will have to say goodbye. He's been a wonderful family member & has brought us much joy therefore we can not let him suffer even though our hearts are breaking.

Terrible Just Terrible

These pills almost killed my senior dog. He had heart palpitations, a racing heart, and hacking coughs and he went from being able to get up to not being able to get up and having stumbling spells which he never did. Beware of the side effects of this drug, just a terrible drug

Always reliable

This was a re-order of a previous prescription for one of our dogs. The info on the dog and the veterinarian was of course on file and given from time of order to receipt of the prescription was barely a week staff at Chewy jumped on reaching out to our vet and got things rolling. The drug itself is what it is and is helping with our dog's needs.

This helps

I have used Rimadyl for mild general arthritis treatment for my 15 year old Dachsund. Carprofen is the generic form of Rimadyl, and I'm so happy that the flavored tablets are accepted as they were a treat. Carprofen is significantly less expensive. I'm hoping that this will help her have at least a couple more good years.

Good news!

I appreciated this prescription item being available at a cost that is less expensive than getting it from our vet, even the generic version. It would be nice if I could just get the strength required w/o having to cut 90+ pills in half?

Pain meds for my dog

Chewy has helped me so many times when I have messed my orders up. They made and extra effort working with my vet to make sure I received the delivery for his medication on time. Great pain relief for my big dog Snow who have had several surgeries on his hind legs

I was made lots of promises and I did lots of calls and checking only to find out the ball had been dropped time after time. It should be in my file. Finally the last person I talked with helped.

carprofen

pills are a lot larger than what was prescribed by vet, and are a different formula, they are very crumbly and break most of the time when inserted into the pill pocket treat
