Perfect food for a special meal. I blended it with my German Shepherd normal food so he wouldn’t get an upset stomach but he loooved it. Good way to add something to his boring dry food.

My fur baby loves it when I make chicken soup or stews for him. I really tried to get him to like this. After I opened the 2nd small box I opened I tried different things. I incorporated chicken I made and he still refused to eat it. Now I am stuck with 10 boxes.

German Shepherd won't eat it
By Scott on Mar 2, 2020
My Shepherd is a picky eater and I wanted something fresh for her. She ate it once and left some in the bowl. I tried to feed it to her again and she refused to eat it.

My puppers loved it!!
By Schnauzermom on Mar 20, 2018
I have 2 mini schnauzers. A 4 month old eating puppy food and a 13 year old eating senior weight management food. Meal time is usually a challenge as both dogs want to eat each other's food more often than not. My puppy is quite thin cause she's usually way more interested in playing than eating. Caru came to the rescue! I stir a little into each of their bowls of kibble and both dogs stay focused on their own bowl until they've been licked clean! I'm so excited I've found something that is so high in quality that also makes mealtime easier!

I have been searching endlessly good food for my fury baby’s, almost every brand has a preservative and harsh chemical but this one is the best one so far and I am so thankful.

Delivers on "Human Grade"
By AltGirlTX on Aug 14, 2017
This certainly does have an ingredient list that reads like human-grade food, which was my goal for my dog that developed allergies. (It would be nice for Chewy to put up a picture of the ingredients for this product like they do for others on here.) She definitely likes the flavor, and I mix it with some kibble to keep texture in her food for her dental health. It works well as a topper and mix-in. It does need to be refrigerated once opened (it states it's then good for 3 days), which means that a little re-heat in the microwave is necessary. With the price, I can see this being prohibitive for large breeds, as the recommended feeding guideline is one box per day per 10 lbs when used alone. Overall I ended up purchasing again because it's a healthier option than other wet foods and works better to mix with dry. … more

BB loves it
By BellaBoo on Jul 25, 2017
Bella loves this wet food! It will be a staple in her diet from now on, and she is one picky eater. I pour 1/2 into her dry food once or twice a day, so each container goes further. Dry food taste is no longer important, because this wet food goes on anything and makes it taste great, not to mention it's good for her.

Low protein!
By Wicket on Jun 19, 2017
Our pup has a liver condition & we are so happy to have found an alternative to the "prescription" foods! Finding a low protein (he needed between 4%-6%) good food is tough. We aren't thrilled to spend so much but it's what our pup needs & he loves it!

My dog refused to eat it
By TwinRivers on Dec 8, 2016
I noticed the food had a strange odor when I opened the package. My dog refused to eat it. I actually tasted the chicken and it was horrible. It did not taste like chicken at all and had a rubbery texture to it. The vegetables also did not appear to be of good quality. I was expecting something a lot better and so was my dog.
