Not real powerful

I bought this for my Golden Retriever who has bear claws! This would be great for a small dog with small nails or I suppose for cats. It is very quiet and she did allow me to use it on her, but all it did was smooth things out. I would not recommend this for dogs with thick nails.

Works Great

It's not very loud and works pretty quickly. It's nice not to worry about cutting into the quick. The instructions mentioned turning it on and giving your dog a treat so that they will associate the sound with good things before you actually use it on your dog. I tried it and after 3 days my pupper came to me when I turned it on and had no problem while I trimmed her nails. So much less stress for us both!

Great for nervous pets

My dogs can be a little anxious when it comes to grooming. I wanted to be able to use a product to keep their nails trimmed but usually they get so scared with loud sounds. These seem to have done the trick. They are much more quieter than other grinders so I am able to use them without stressing out my dogs. Great product!

Great grinder!

This grinder was much quieter than I expected! My dog HATES getting his nails trimmed and at the vet it takes 3 of us to hold him down. The vet suggested we get a grinder so he doesn't have to go as often and I'm glad I bought this one! It didn't even phase the dog at all! It's quiet, and so easy to use! Very happy with this one!

Easy to use

My favorite thing about this is that it's rechargable. I've used battery operated ones before and they use up batteries quickly. I also like that there are different sizes for different dogs. My chihuahua uses the smallest size.

Great Nail Grinder

This is pretty silent compared to other ones I’ve had in the past. Which makes cutting my dogs nails easier since she doesn’t like loud noises.
