This grain-free & poultry-free recipe uses salmon as the primary ingredient, followed by other fish-based protein sources for optimal nutrition and great taste. Real pieces of minimally processed fruits and vegetables provide a natural source of antioxidants, vitamins, and fiber that you can actually see in the bag. And there are plenty of other powerful benefits that aren’t visible to the eye, including Omega 3 and 6 Fatty Acids that contribute to healthy skin and a luxurious coat, and a balanced calcium to phosphorous ratio that helps promote healthy bones and teeth. Natural Ultramix Grain-Free & Poultry-Free Adult Dog Food is made without artificial colors and preservatives, grains, or poultry.

This formula is not intended as the sole diet for growing puppies, pregnant or lactating dogs - these dogs have special nutritional needs that require a different balance of protein, calories, and other nutrients. Help your dog maintain good body condition by monitoring food intake, providing exercise and visiting your veterinarian on a regular basis. Please adjust your dog’s feeding amount using the chart as a guide. The amount will vary by age, activity level, environment and breed. Always have a clean bowl of fresh water available for your dog.
To help your dog adjust to a new diet, we recommend a gradual change. Slowly introduce Natural Ultramix by mixing it in with the current food over the course of 7 - 10 days, gradually increasing the amount of Natural Ultramix while decreasing the amount of your dog’s current diet.

Couldn’t agree more with Bonnie’s review. “ WHY is this product so often unavailable for long periods of time? I’m frustrated. My dogs like this food and I like the quality of the product.....what’s the problem with production??? Seriously frustrated and beyond curious.” And why do you keep upping the price so much when it is available? I have tried customer relations at Castor & Pollux and they are not providing any answers either.
This product has been the daily meals for my pet for several years. I hope that it will return to the market soon.

I am very pleased. The food has proved to be a winner. My little dog loves it. Seems to be helping her coat less licking it.
My two adult miniature schnausers refused to eat this over a 24 hour period and I am not willing to repeat the effort. May I return the unused portion for replacement or credit? The premium price I paid for this well reviewed product was costly for me.
Seems to me like something changed...once we started feeding them this brand, as soon as it hit the bowl it was gone. Now, after two years of our dogs loving this food...they quit eating it cold turkey. Our younger dog is now throwing up several times a day, the older dog just goes outside and eats grass instead.
I’m so glad you carry Castor & Pollux. My boys been on this diet for 8 years now (he’s 8) with no issues. Chewys is always timely in shipping my orders and it’s never been more than two days. Thanks
After all the recalls on dog food month after month, it’s great to find a food that has good ingredients and that the pups love! Supplemented with homemade food this dry food properly balances their needs!
My dog kids are very spoiled & picky...Bichons, a Lab-mix & Cockapoo. They LOVE this food! Its worth the little extra price, bag isn't huge but is manageable for a big dog family....It smells like "people food." They all love it! Has cleared up my Lab & Cockapoo's ear infections & the little ones don't scratch at all anymore. Plus their poopies are smaller. Highly recommend! Castor & Polluck bought by Purina but they havent changed ingredients. High quality food!
My Golden and Boxer used to eat american journey so I have been trying to switch to a healthier option. They love Castor and Pollux wet food but every time I put this food down it looks appealing as it seems to have fresh dried fruits or something inside but my dogs don't like it one bit. It is very irritating. Despite them not eating all day they still refuse to eat this. I don't recommend it for picky eaters.
