My girl (8 lb. chi, 11 y.o.) loved this when I first started her on it a few years ago. It was mostly solids with some liquid in it, so 1/2 a can plus a 1/2 cup of kibble met her caloric and nutritional needs. I would get two meals out of each can. The past three cases I've ordered have been extremely disappointing in the solid:liquid ratio. I literally have to strain the liquid out of it to find the solids. What's left is enough solid matter for one meal. It's very disappointing. Is the company trying to save money by using less solid matter and more liquid filler? Whatever the reason, they've lost a loyal customer. (On the plus side, I found a new food, Earth Farms Grain-Free Beef Stew, that she's bonkers for, more than she ever was for this, and it costs less. Shweeet!) … more

Our dog, Luke, just LOVES the chicken thigh and bone. No problem with getting him to eat and it makes us happy because of it being grain-free! We're going to try another kind, maybe the vegetable beef, so he has some variety in his meals. Thanks from happy dog owners and their sweet coon hound!

  • Our dog loves this, along with all the other Ultramix canned varieties

The reason I don't give it five stars is packaging. There are problems opening the cans; several times we've pulled the tab on top and it simply broke off. Sometimes you can open the cans with a can opener when the tab breaks off but sometimes not. To be fair, C&P reimbursed us for several unusable cans. We also don't like the packaging of the case; unlike almost every other brand packaged in a 3x4 squarish case, C&P packs in a long 2x6 case so it can't be stacked with the rest of the dog food (we feed several brands and varieties to our dog). Nitpicky I'll grant you, but rather annoying.

  • Whole chicken bone in can.

This doesn't even deserve one star, but it was required. Very disappointed in this product. Mostly liquid, with a few pieces of the veggies and a small hunk of chicken with the bone still in it. Also, several of the cans were dented, apparently before packing, as the packaging material was intact. Won't purchase again.

  • My dogs FAVORITE

My dog love this canned food. I feel great serving them it because of the high quality. This is a topper to their kibble. I can tell a difference already in my small affenpinschers hair. Shiny and soft.

  • Good food for picky dog

This is the only dog food my dog will consistently eat. I have wasted a lot of money trying to find a dog food he will eat.

  • Will not buy again

I was shocked that the chicken thigh bone was included. I am glad I found it before feeding my 5 pound poodle. The contents were 50% liquid and the fatty skin of the thigh meat. Of course, my puppy liked the chicken thigh meat but ignored the processed mystery cubes. I will not purchase again
