    Probably saved our Greyhound

By Jonathan on Aug 14, 2020

For our retired racing greyhound, I never appreciated how big of a difference his dog food made until maybe a year ago. He was gassy (yeah, you know the kind) so I switched him to Purina Sensitive Stomach, which was better than run of the mill dog food. He was gassy (yeah, you know the kind) so I switched him to Purina Sensitive Stomach, which was better than run of the mill dog food. His health was degrading, his joints were degrading, he fell a lot, he started throwing up his food more and more. Literally spent thousands of dollars on vet bills trying to keep this poor guy alive. Nothing worked. We got a puppy and embraced that we were about to lose him. My biggest regret is not having him on better food earlier, so we are not making that mistake with our puppy. My only complaint is that it is quite hard to chew, so we have to mix in the Organix Butcher & Bushel wet food. This stuff is pricey, sure, but WAYYY cheaper than having the vet try to treat him. He'll be on this diet until his last breathe, no questions. … more

    Cutting costs

By Starecho on Sep 10, 2020

Just got a a new shipment and the bags are no longer resealable. What's up with that? Time to look for a new brand. If they are skimping on packaging probably skimping on quality ingredients. Who knows.
