First, I've always found Castor &Pollux/Organic to be an excellent brand. If you care about what your cat eats, this is an excellent choice. It's organic and balanced with whole grains organic brown rice (not all vets believe that cats shouldn't eat grains, since they eat rodents and birds, which eat grains) and vegetables. My cats love this food. It's a bit pricey but now that it comes in a case of 24 rather than 12, it's more cost effective. Highly recommend.
My new cats easily transitioned to this high quality food. We've used Organix for many years and always feel it is a wonderful product.
I have a 18 yr old male that’s been in renal failure for a year. He won’t eat any of the prescription foods but loves this one. Thank God!!! It’s low enough in Phosphorus, protein, sodium, fat and carbs for him to eat
My cats have had just about every flavor of Organix imaginable. When they got older, I went back to feeding them kitten food for the nutrition. Now, they are enjoying the brown rice in this recipe.
Kitty thoroughly enjoys his organic food & gets excited at feeding times.
I have been feeding my cats Organix for more than four years. I currently have five cats ranging from 1-1/2 to 14 years old. I recently added this recipe to their daily menu (I go through about five cans per day and also order the Organix turkey, chicken, chicken liver pates, shredded chicken and dry food). Since this isn't grain free, I hesitated to buy it before. Given that each can is divided for multiple cats and the other recipes are grain free, the overall grain intake is minimal, so I gave it a try. Four of the five like it and eat it regularly. The fifth prefers the shredded chicken and doesn't eat much pate, I believe that serving organic high quality food to them has helped keep them healthy. They are all active and play often, their coats are healthy and they are not consuming by-products, additives, pesticides, hormones and fillers that contribute to obesity and a myriad of other health problems. I highly recommend the Organix brand. If your cat doesn't like this particular recipe, try others varieties. In my humble opinion, Organix is the best cat food available.
My cat is a very finicky eater and he has chosen to like this food for the time being so I give it an A+ for being organic and low in phosphorus. It is a bit pricey though
After trying several "high ranking" wet cat foods, I finally settled on this one because they both love it.
My cats like a little looser consistency...so this wasn't a hit with them. The ingredients are super good if your cat will eat it
I bought this for a CRF cat because it’s a lower phosphorus food. My cat refused the renal foods we bought from the vet, and the two phosphorus binders we tried gave her diarrhea. Sadly we never had a chance to try this food on my cat, because we had to euthanize her (Chewy was nice enough to refund some of the purchase price), but feeding it to our remaining five cats, they weren’t thrilled with it. Two cats barely ate it at all. I think they just don’t like turkey. My sick cat had a poor appetite and i don’t think she would have eaten this. The two low phosphorus foods she liked were Wellness Healthy Indulgence morsels, and Weruva beef, both available from chewy. The Weruva was a bit stringy for her, and the morsels I had to mash up with a fork to make them more of a pate. My other cats went absolutely nuts over those two foods.
