  • Ms Finiky Loves It!

    By on

My calico cat has food issues w/her stomach and allergies. She's been on this and the Org Chicken, Castor & Pollox for 1.5 yrs now and she's so much better! I add probiotics to her food and she keeps it down and loves mealtimes now. What a difference! No wonder she was so grumpy before because she wasn't feeling well but she's all better now!

  • SHE TOOK TO IT

    By on

It does have a slight brown rice smell to it. When I first opened it up I was immediately doubtful of its success. First time in her plate was a no toucher. No bites. Second time--a few days later was an entire can all gobbled up in no time flat, licked her plate clean! She had NOT taken to some of the very expensive food out there I got for her NO MATTER how many times I've tried. This was a success only the second try. Give it time.

  • Smells good, but only Pate :(

    By on

My cats turned their nose up at this - little brats lol - but I believe it's only because it's a pate (which they don't like, but I didn't see this was pate or else I wouldn't have gotten it). Still, I give it four stars because the ingredients look good, it's grain free, and when I opened it it smelled like actual food. My cats did eat it just fine, although begrudgingly. There are an extreme few number of Organic cat food brands, and all the ones I've seen have been pate, so I hope they come out with more. Until then, I'll have to refrain from buying it again (but I'd like to). I guess if your cat loves pate or is older/can't chew chunks as well, definitely give this a try! • My Cats won't eat it.

I buy healthy food for my cats and they love most of the brands I buy. They don't like the Castor & Pollux Turkey, Chicken and Rice. Most of it is left in the bowl.

  • Not so good

I have 4 cats and not one of them liked the food. I have thought about returning the food, but I think I will donate to a feline rescue.

  • Waste of money

    By on

Chewy ran out of the canned food I usually serve to my oversized clowder, and so the operator who called to inform me of that suggested more Organix, since there was one case already in my order because I wanted to try it. I should have stuck to trying only one flavor, but I went out on a limb and switched all four cases out for this new brand. The first time I put it out some of them nibbled at it. But after that, it simply doesn't get eaten. I have 40 cats, there are one or two who will go around and clean up a couple of plates, but for the most part it is completely wasted. Forty cats is a pretty good test group, and the food utterly failed. I'm loathe to be negative about anything that is the product of someone else's hard work because I know the company is sincere and appreciate any company that strives to create a grain-free cat food. But the only thing I can say about it, with regrets and apologies to the company, is that I'm very disappointed in it and won't buy it again. (This is no reflection whatsoever on Chewy or their operator, it was my decision to take the leap with Organix, and I will continue to always order from Chewy because of their integrity and the convenience of their superlative website, free shipping and the fact that they deliver right to my door. Chewy always gets an A+++.) … more

Healthy ingredients but my cats (6) out of 8 don't want to eat it! The other two pick at it. Too bad.

It seems very good packaging and high quality. But none of my cats really eat it. I am lucky to get the can used.
