  • Cat loves it. I'm looking for lower carb food though

    By on

This is the only organix cat food that is semi-reasonably low in carbs. 13.6% on a dry matter basis. Any more than zero is too many, but it's right at upper limit to prevent negative effects from my research. Considering cats are obligate carnivores, they have no need for any other ingredients. Now that price has jacked up, that is the reason I can't give this more than 3 stars. It used to be a great price and calorie dense compared to most so we didn't need more than one 5.5oz can per day.

  • Cats would not eat

    By on

Cats love the dry food in this brand but would not eat the canned version. Even our big boy who eats everything wouldn’t eat. Will have to give away the whole case. Big waste of money.

  • Waste of money

Chewy ran out of the canned food I usually serve to my oversized clowder, and so the operator who called to inform me of that suggested more Organix, since there was one case already in my order because I wanted to try it. I should have stuck to trying only one flavor, but I went out on a limb and switched all four cases out for this new brand. The first time I put it out some of them nibbled at it. But after that, it simply doesn't get eaten. I have 40 cats, there are one or two who will go around and clean up a couple of plates, but for the most part it is completely wasted. Forty cats is a pretty good test group, and the food utterly failed. I'm loathe to be negative about anything that is the product of someone else's hard work because I know the company is sincere and appreciate any company that strives to create a grain-free cat food. But the only thing I can say about it, with regrets and apologies to the company, is that I'm very disappointed in it and won't buy it again. (This is no reflection whatsoever on Chewy or their operator, it was my decision to take the leap with Organix, and I will continue to always order from Chewy because of their integrity and the convenience of their superlative website, free shipping and the fact that they deliver right to my door. Chewy always gets an A+++.) … more

My two cats gurgle for this food! It’s a little pricy, but it’s good quality and desirable for my cats.

  • good quality (I assume) - cat hates it

I don't know if one star is fair, but for our cat it is one star. We have to pour salmon oil on it to get hime to even investigate it. The rest of the case will go to the shelter.

  • Another good quality food that they seem to like most times

    By on

This is a very good quality food without carrageenan, and my guys seem to like it most times...that is, some of the times, they are just OK with it :) but they are pretty picky and 15 years old, so the fact that they like it most times is great with me!

  • I Love the quality of this food - but cats not so much

    By on

High quality food without carrageenan, which is hard to find, so I would like to give it 5 stars, but my cats refuse to eat it, so I am feeding it to the dog -he deserves quality food too :) The pate is very dense, low water content.

  • Cats Not Thrilled With This Flavor

    By on

My two cats enjoy the chicken flavor of C&P Organix so I figured this one would be a hit also. Both won't eat it. It must be the smell of it, since the texture is completely similar to the chicken variety.

My two finicky felines love this food, and the fact that it contains organically grown ingredients makes it a real winner in my book! I highly recommend it!!!

  • Cats don't care for it

    By on

They will only eat a tid bit when I put a small plate out. I'm still weaning them from Friskies...but it's slow process. Will have to surprise them as day-time treat or late night treat to get them used to it
