Are the kibble small enough for a small breed Senior dog ??

This food is suitable for dogs of all breed sizes. The spherical kibble pieces are approximately 1 cm in diameter, just a little smaller than a button on a man's dress shirt.
How many cups are in an 18 lb bag? Thank you for your time.

There will be approximately 4 cups of kibble per pound. The 4 pound bag will have close to 16 cups, the 10 pound bag close to 40 cups and the 18 pound bag close to 72 cups.
Is this food suitable for a senior dog over age 7? Is the feeding guideline different for an older dog?

made dog sick for two days

While we’re generally a fan of this brand, the new “update” to the salmon recipe (ie: the inclusion of the “raw” bites) made our dog sick for two days. I didn’t connect her symptoms to the food until I had given it to her twice (once for dinner, and once for breakfast the next morning), but the poor thing was miserable as a result of whatever changes were made. Her stomach was audibly churning, her stool was soft and discolored and her energy was zapped. We have transitioned back to the brand’s chicken and sweet potato formulation, which we know sits well with her. This variety (with the “raw” bites) should be discontinued.

Healthy food for healthy dogs

I recently adopted a 12 year old with an armload of issues, skin, ear, grossly overweight, etc. I put her on this food and her issues disappeared.

Eli’s Dog Food

Our lab, Eli, has a very sensitive stomach. After trying numerous dog foods we have finally found the right one. He loves it and so does his stomach! Unfortunately this dog food is pretty pricey but will do whatever we can for our buddies!!

Horrible shipping. Good food

Ordered the food on a Friday and the website says 2 day shipping. Because of pandemic reasons I knew it wouldn’t be 2 days. Shipping went back and forth between 2 shipping hubs and a week and a half later I had the food. Mind you I had to go buy another bag while I waited for this shipping issue. Food wise, dog seems to like it so far but it is a little pricey for the amount you get.

Great food choice!

Of course dogs are not too picky about their food, but my dog absolutely loves this! It is very expensive, but in my opinion, it is worth it. The ingredients are amazing, and our furry pets depend on us to choose the best food for them. Definitely would recommend!

great food

I would have given this food 5 stars but my little Havanese refused to eat it. “The fault,dear Brutus, lies not in the food but in the dog” (Shakespeare?). That being said it smelled wonderful and had nice big chunks of salmon. Thanks to Chewy I was able to get credit for the second auto ship bag. On to a new food. Dogs! You may not understand them but you have to love them!

I liked the ingredients

I got this for free to try it and my honest review. When i received it i was very excited to give it to my dog because i had already looked at all the ingredients on the bag and i really like all that was in there but unfortunately my dog didn’t like it. I’m still not sure what it was that he didn’t like. There was really no smell to it unlike his current food but he just wouldn’t eat it on its own. I ended up adding it and mixing it to his current food for him to be able to finish it. Maybe next time i will try giving it to him little by little but i did overall liked the food for him.
