My male cat gets bored easily, but this puzzle box kept him occupied for an hour. He will do anything for a treat. I did put it away after an hour and let him play with it the next day with the same results. I don’t let it sit out and only give it to him sparingly so he doesn’t get bored. Not interested at all- made we’ll and easy to put together but a waste for KitKat. Tried to interest her in it by putting treats inside and balls but still no interest. Not very effective
By Judy on May 16, 2022
Our cats paid little attention to it. Somewhat of a pain to put together.

Good toy for smart cat
By Catzzy on Apr 3, 2022
Our cat was too good on the other treat puzzle we had, so I got this one. Didn’t take but moments for him to figure this one out, but with all the variations, he has to work harder to get the treats. That keeps him busier longer, which was our goal. The box wasn’t hard to put together (easier with two people) and it is definitely sturdier than I was afraid it would be. Should last a long time. Would love to have some choices for the outside design. The current one doesn’t really go with many decors.

Great toy
By catservant on Mar 25, 2022
This has been an awesome hunting toy for the cats. They both have enjoyed hunting their treats and toys (small catnip fish) hidden in it. But, be prepared for some of the inner boxes to pop out of the stickers and adhesive strips holding them shut. Have a couple bits of duct tape ready in case.

way more complicated than needed
By nope on Mar 15, 2022
This box is way more complicated than needed and way more complicated than it looks on here. It doesn’t make much sense from a human logic stand point because of the way the treats can fall and be impossible to get to

Great toy for your cats!
By Suzie on Mar 5, 2022
I never write reviews, but this time I have to share how much fun my two kitties have pulling their toys out of this puzzle box. I've loaded toy mice and balls - not treats. They spend time throughout the day pulling the toys out and then playing with them. It's a great distraction from other trouble they could get in!

All the child cats went nuts!
By Latcady on Mar 4, 2022
I have 4 under a year old kitbits who run me ragged all day, they're all super active and super smart and it has been a huge challenge finding things that absorb them for more than 5 minutes. So far this box puzzle has been a big hit, they have been working on it all day for treats & toy mice. The biggest kidcat is just over 12lbs and so far all 4 have been climbing all over it & sitting on it and it's unharmed. One thing I like especially about it is that it's not ONLY for food treats. All but 1 of my hoard of cats are not food driven, so the fact I can drop in zip ties and bottle caps and toy mice and it still works just as good as it does with treats, awesome!

Perfect difficulty level
By maura on Feb 25, 2022
One of our cats is into everything. He will open drawers, cabinets etc if he knows there is something he wants inside. Normally when we put treats in a puzzle toy he brute forces them out in minutes. Not so with this box because he can't tip it over and has to actually work them out with his paws so it entertains him for quite awhile. Sometimes he even lets our other cat get a turn with treats inside!!! Impressively our other kitty loves this too. She walks away from puzzle toys when she can't see the treats, but probably because she can touch them, she keeps working at this. She also loves to fish toys out (much easier) and sometimes even drops toys in herself to fish out!

Inspector Pepper
By TuxieMom on Feb 24, 2022
My kitten, Pepper, is always in need of mental stimulation. She loves to hunt prey (aka toys), stalk, and trap things. This ambush predator loves when I put treats, small toys, or something surprising in this puzzle box. She has to work hard for her reward! Whenever she gets bored or restless, I pull out this toy. She soon forgets her boredom and is attentive for hours!
