No more vomiting!
Missy and her subjects, Yoda and Mazie, are eating this dry cat food and their slave hasn’t had to clean up any messes since she got this for them. That said, this is a repeat purchase and will be purchased on an ongoing basis with autoship! Thank you Chewy! I’m mixing it up with some of the Purina one plus sensitive skin and stomach dry food on a whim, and they eat that also, and I have noticed quite an improvement in their fur. I thought their fur was pretty good to begin with, so I wasn’t expecting any visible improvement, so this was a bonus.
Over the past 25+ years I have taken care of a couple hundred cats, I fed them all a leading brand. I notice my inside cats were throwing up quite a bit, not knowing why. Then I found out, dyes will make cats do this, the vet suggested I switch to an all brown dry cat food. I have been using purina gentle for the past 3 or 4 years, it agrees with all of them. It’s the only brand I buy, it’s hard to find at times. My cats won’t eat the expensive and definitely won’t eat the cheap, as long as they are happy, I’m happy.
My Cats Favorite
One of my cats was having problems with other cat food and leaving piles of partly digested food in various places around the house. I decided to try Purina Sensitive Stomach to see if that would help. It definitely did! Plus as soon as they hear the sound of the scoop taking food from the storage container to their bowls, they run a race with each other to get there first.
Great cat food
I used to buy whiskers which was good but it got hard to find. My cat is allergic to the red dyes in some dry food so I switched to this. Best decision ever. They are no longer getting sick. Less hairballs. Great cat food. I feed all my cats this and it's been great. It's just harder to find at the moment
okay so far
Clearly not the best quality dry cat food but, it is one of the better cheaper dry foods i suppose. With current wet cat food shortages and our pet’s food expense every month going well over $526 (8 cats & 2 dogs) and that is not including their nightly treats/forti-flora/toys/chew bones, we’ve had to cut something out of our budget for us and the cats for a bit, So i chose to switch to this cat chow dry food from their quality expensive essence meadow dry food, will later save us like $100 a month if not more since more food in these bags. we haven’t fully switched over to this yet for am feeling a little guilty, so i am mixing this at half-half with their essence for now. working out well, no tummy issues at all so far. Seems i may of chosen wrong though for this brand is now getting harder to find too!!
Kitty Cat Food
I couldn't get our regular cat food as they were sold out so I got my fur-babies Purina Cat Chow, Gentle. And they really seem to like it quite a bit! I'll get them another bage when they get through this one, maybe in another flavor.
I had previously purchased a more expensive sensitive stomach for my kitties. It was on back order so I thought I would try something to tide me over. My kitties went wild for this new sensitive food. Would definitely purchase again.
Miracle anti-barf product!
We have three cats and honestly I'm never sure which one of them has deposited a little regurgitation of love on the floor or rug. Or couch. Or bed. But now that question is (knock wood) irrelevant, since there hasn't been a single incidence of puke since we switched to this product. They all seemed to take to it fine, no adjustment period needed; they all seem to enjoy it; and best of all, there are no more squishy surprises underfoot!
Good choice for my cats
My Bonnie was having trouble digesting the Purina indoor cat food and then she began to reject it, trying to cover as if it were in the litter box. Purina Gentle completely solved that problem. I recommend it for picky eaters like her.
8 y.o. male cat puking up food a lot, eating too fast was usually the culprit and food wants digested but he is throwing up half as much now that he's been on this for 3 months
