I bought this for my cats to perch on on my little sun porch that I am re-doing. I do like the look and it seems to be sturdy enough. It was super easy to assemble! The carpet is a little under-whelming and took no time for it to be pulled out. I'm thinking of wrapping the upright tubes in rope. the cats are curious about it but haven't really "loved" it. I wonder if it's because it does move a bit when they jump up or off. I'm not planning to take it down - let's see if they warm up to it.
My Cats Just Love This
on May 13, 2019
My cats love to keep an eye on me while I am in the kitchen or dinning room and I was able to place this where they can do both. It has been a very good investment. I do however have to place it in the corner to give it a bit more stability other wise I would have given it a 5 star. Easy to assemble by one person and three cats. Everything I needed was included. The hardest part was putting the "top" on and placing it in its spot, being a person of limited mobility, but I figured that would be so before I bought it, so no surprises there. I have two of these now and LOCATION is key. The 2nd one did not fair as well until I moved it to a different location.
Great for the price and size!

This cat tree is great if you’re looking for something less bulky and less expensive than traditional cat trees. I also love how I can easily move it around the house and fit it into tight corners without taking up too much space. It utilizes a tension rod in the design, and because of that, it isn’t very sturdy, and wouldn’t recommend it for an area with vaulted ceilings. And it might not be the best for heavier cats either, but you can always anchor it to the wall for added support if needed. I plan to wrap the cylinders with some twine once the current carpet-like material wears away. Overall, my kitten absolutely loves it and I am very happy with this purchase.
Great concept, poor execution.

I had really high hopes for this but it just isnt really made with the best material. The spring rod doesnt work too great. I had to screw it into the ceiling stud and put some some wood under it so it can't move at all.
I know I didnt cut the rod too short because I kept having to cut more off in order to be able to stand it up.
The platforms are pretty small for a full grown cat and they're pretty far apart for a kitten. The tower itself is very wobbly but even with the support I've added. I think this would work a lot better with a bigger base (the base is the same size as the 3 platforms) and a shower curtain style tension rod rather then a spring.
Good cat tree, pretty easy to assemble

was able to install this cat tree in my livingroom without needing to saw down one of the posts as recommended by the instructions (win!); depending on the height of your ceiling, you will need to have a saw on hand to cut down plastic tubing as needed. My cat is a little skiddish and nervous and the platforms are a little more narrow than I expected. She still has not ventured to the third level yet on her own (I've had the cat tree up for about 3.5 weeks), it is awkwardly placed and from her vantage doesn't offer enough room to jump up confidently since the post is in the middle of where she would be jumping to. It is still great for her to perch from to look out the window during the day, was able to install this cat tree in my livingroom without needing to saw down one of the posts as recommended by the instructions (win!); depending on the height of your ceiling, you will need to have a saw on hand to cut down plastic tubing as needed. Flimsy and not worth it
on May 28, 2019
Bought this tree hoping at least the smaller of my two cats would have someplace high to hang out. As it is, the spring which holds the top in place is just too loose to support the weight of any cat. A design like this needs a physical way to tighten the top pole. Additionally the platforms are TINY. Don't buy it.

The tree is tall and my rascally cats love to climb it... I think it’s not as sturdy as I would like... my cats are still young, they are not too heavy and the pole seems to stay in place, however the shelves that they sit on are all kinds of crooked even after we tightened it again... I just push them back into place . They do love to scratch and climb it...I’m going to add some rope around the bottom poles, for better scratching. The only reason I gave it 3 stars out of 5 is that it does have quite a bit of movement and does not seem to be tight enough... but my cats are under 10lbs right now...
Sturdy, good price, glad I found it again.

This is the second cat tree in 3 years. I can’t imagine my furniture if I didn’t have. I bought for two six month old rescue cats and they destroyed over time. They don’t do well with change so finding this again works. It is sturdy for ruff play x 2 cats. It wobbles but always holds, I wish the perches were bigger but my 13 pound cat sleeps on it every afternoon and just hangs off it. Good price.
Horrible, absolute junk.

This floor-to-ceiling scratch post is the worst made scratch post I've ever seen. My cat scratched on it for a total of 30 seconds and the carpet was pretty much ruined already. The carpet on this thing is absolute junk. Chewy, you need to remove this from your inventory and not sell it to anyone.
A Minimalist's Dream Cat Tree

Great/ beautiful product! Very easy to assemble & super sleek. I have a bengal who is almost one, he's pretty heavy set, which puts this tree to the ultimate test. He jumps and climbs to the top, and although the tree does wobble, it doesn't fall over or get displaced from the mount on the ceiling. Also, I wrapped the bottom pole with twine to make it a better scratching post.
