The Cat Craft 3-Tier Floor-to-Ceiling Cat Tree fits ceilings up to 9 feet.
The posts are super flimsy and ended up bending somehow and collapsed the whole thing. I really thought the posts were carpet wrapped plastic, but it seems like they are all just rolls of carpet or cardboard or something. If your cats sharpen their claws on it, which I assume they are meant to do, it will not last long.
For the price it's fantastic. Took me 15 min to unbox and set up. The carpet could be thicker but for the price it's perfect. Princess chews and scratches it to death and it hasn't shown wear yet. Most of all she's thrilled with it and I dont have to keep a chair next to the dining cabinet anymore for her to get up there.
I have had this up for about a week now and everything was easy to put together but the carpet is all over my floor in little chunks. The cats have already managed to pull it off the base pole so I will have to re-cover it with rope or fabric of my own
My ceiling was just under 9 ft and I needed to saw off part of the white tube that goes on top. Very inconvenient considering I do not own a saw. Ended up sawing it off with a scissor. Braced it against the corner so it was more stable. Other than that, the cats seem to like it enough and it doesn't take up too much space in our small apartment.
This cat tree worked really well for what I needed (vertical space for my cat). It was easy to put together. I got this 1.5 years ago when my cat was a kitten. He was so small that he would climb to the top and then get stuck. He is now a 12lb lean machine. It wobbles when he uses it now. It probably doesn't help that he will run from across the room, jumps on it, and shimmy his way to the top. He also uses it as a scratching post - which works but it doesn't look as nice anymore. It finally broke this week. It worked for what I needed as I learned about my cat and his needs. I'll buy something more sterdy in the future.
I have used a lot of cat trees in my time, because I have had a lot of cats. This is the worst cat tree I have ever had. I put it together, ensured the connections were tight, and the photo shows what happened. The bottom post tore when my cat jumped on it and it broke and collapsed. Fortunately, no one was hurt. This is a poorly made cat tree!
Extremely poor quality, With two cats and two of these products are made with cheap quality pressed material
We have 4 cat's Tigger 9, Vinnie 5-10-20, Starsky and Hutch 06-15-21 and we have a different dog our Molly passed away and now we have a tea cup Chihuahua puppy 08-26-22.
my cat loves going to the top of my closet and hanging out there, so i bought this for her to be able to get up there without me. it worked for all of a year, and now it’s DANGEROUS for her to use! it was sturdy originally, but as of this last month it’s started leaning, slipping, and sliding. i’ve fixed it every other day this month for fear of my cat getting hurt. i keep trying to tighten the tree itself because i thought that was the problem, but i don’t know if it’s so cheap that the threads got messed up somehow. this really sucks, because i wanted it to work. it’s sad that companies don’t care about the quality of the product, and could hurt my baby.
I have one energetic toddler cat. This the the second one that had broken. Chewy replaces the 2nd for free. Now it's been a fee months and here we are again.
