My elder cat would meow non-stop when trying to take her to the vet. It got so bad I'd just have to let her out to sit on my lap on the way to the vet, which is dangerous. Since i got these bags (2 cats), life has been much easier when it comes to vet visits. I also get tons of comments about the cats in their sacks lol. These bags also help the shedding down in the car. I can easily carry both cats into the vet without trouble. You can set the cat down without fear that they will bolt (assuming you put the collar on correctly, two fingers loose, no more). In the car, they are in the seat and strapped in just in case.
I have an older cat who does not like car rides at all. I purchased this hoping bringing him to the vet would be easier then in a normal carrier. In a normal carrier he used to meow like crazy. With this he meows a little but nothing like before.
I live alone, and trimming claws and giving meds has been such a struggle. It was a bit of one to get him in the bag, but once I did, no matter how he yowled, it was all easy. So he got two meds and all of his claws trimmed at one time! Love it!
I have two cats and was trying to find a good carrier that didn’t take up space when not using it once a year for the vet. I have a hard carrier that’s like a baby carrier with a car harness. It was great when they were kittens but it doesn’t fit both of them now. This bag is great! My cat is comfortable and relaxed. He doesn’t try to squirm out or claw at anything.
Got the cat in the bag. Not very difficult
I have a kitty that not only gets motion sickness but also has a ton of anxiety. She gets so worked up on car rides that her vet prescribed medication just doesn't work. She ends up drooling, vomiting, urinating and messing herself in her kennel. I bought this as a last hope. I thought to myself that I also would feel the same if locked in a cage inside a moving vehicle. I made sure I put this out and let her see it, smell it and would do short increments of putting her inside and snuggling with her. I had a long car ride (1 hr) as we were moving. This saved me! She sat up front with me, could see around her and I believe she felt more in control. I did give her anxiety medication prescribed by my vet, but this added to helping her feel calm. She isn't crazy about getting in, but she doesn't fight me. I do recommend washing it and allowing yours and your pets scent to get all over it so it feels like home/a safe place. Sunny is about 15lbs and I bought a medium.
Well made. Easy to put her in it.
My experiance using this bag was not as pleasant as everyone else's.. y cats did not like being confined and getting their paws outside bag was OT easy. They stiffened up and tucked their paws in. Very snarled and vocal. I was at least able to cut nails but I was stressed as well in the process!! Soo mission accomplished!🤥
this product is fabulous the cat loves it
If you have a cat, you need one of these! No more wrestling with a towel or getting clawed. One of my cats is known for shredding towels and hiding in them. He doesn't like the bag but I sure do! Just open the bottom, let him stick his head through the top, cinch down the velcro, zip bottom, and go. Be sure to rinse it well or wash with like colors as it does bleed the color.
