Cat Lax is a palatable formula for the elimination and prevention of hair balls in cats. For finicky eaters, place a small amount on your cat's paw and watch your cat lick it clean!
Helps eliminate and prevent hairballs, improves digestion, and reduces vomiting
Contains cod liver oil and Vitamin E for skin and coat health
Petroleum-based laxatives coat the swallowed hair and allow it to pass through the digestive system of cats and other pets.
Palatable flavor even finicky cats will like
Made in the USA
HAZARDS TO ANIMALS: If condition persists or increases discontinue use and consult veterinarian. Keep container tightly closed. To avoid contamination do not touch tip of container to any surface. I wish my cats liked the taste because it seems to be the only cat laxative Chewy has that doesn't have petroleum jelly as the main ingredient. Instead the main lubricant they use is cod liver oil which is much better. But sadly my cats dislike it even after many attempts at putting it on their paws to let them get used to the taste. They will groom their paws and get the gel down that way but you can only get a small amount in unless you want to find clumps of shaken off gel around your home. 3 stars since it's a better ingredient list though.
CAT LAX (treats hairballs)

My cat.Mouse, loves to keep herself clean, she licks herself a lot.She will throw up hairballs, her hair in clumps, sometimes with food. If I put some CAT LAX in with her food every 2-3,4 days she passes the hair right into the litter box. Much easier on her & cleaning. Good product. Evesco made one of the first called Laxatone or maybe CAT LAX was the original.
Love this product

I tried to get this locally, but had no luck. Chewy had it on my doorstep the day after it was ordered (did not request a rush order). My cat had been constipated and this seems to solve the problem. He licks a 1" line of it right off my finger every morning.

My furbaby was miserable until I used this. Just one smear on her paw, and by the next day she was fine. I will keep this on hand for possible future hairball issues. Also, thank you Chewy for your always speedy delivery. I have recommended you to all my friends and they are also impressed with your service!
No-go for my cat.

I appreciate that this is a popular item among many kitties. My cat has become a Petromalt addict since I got her last October. I got the Cat Lax thinking it's similar enough that she'd like it as well. Unfortunately, not the case and if looks could kill, when I presented it to her, I wouldn't be alive to write this review now. Ha ha.
Great for hairballs

Recommend for all cats, especially the over-groomers and longer haired cats. I use this once weekly on a maintenance basis for all my cats to help them pass furballs. When they have a furball flare up and have been hacking, I give this a couple times a day for about 3 days and usually the issue subsides quickly (:
Does what it supposed to!

My cat was having issues and bought this product. It helped her go and she loved the taste of the cream so I didn't have to force it! She's doing better. Do you have anything for this heat???
Hairball, control of

I have 7 cats and this seems to aid in the removal of hairballs and decreased the episodes of spit up. Two of these dears are long hair cats. All are inside, except for a Norwegian Forest cat that has always been both inside and outside. She was a neighbor's cat and recently adopted us as hers! All of mine like the taste and will lick this from my fingers.
She Eats It Straight From The Tube!!!

My little ball of furry started getting hair balls this year real bad. I opened the tub and let her smell it and she was interested. I tried to put it on her paw like the instructions said but she started eating it as it was coming out! Now I just grab the tube and she comes running. I think this worked after the first dose! It's kinda gross looking and a little stinky, but my kitties LOVE stinky foods so it works perfectly for us!
My long haired furball making machine likes it!

Cheddar, my long-haired orange tabby boy, really loves to lick this product off of a saucer, and comes running to the kitchen for his daily Cat Lax treat. Too soon to tell whether this product is helping with the hairballs, but with this finicky cat, just getting him to eat a supplement, is a victory.
