The feeder works great- on the same set of batteries for over a year. No problems and easy to set up.

Having an older cat that requires several small meals of wet food a day (including nights) this amazing device has allowed the family to get a good night's sleep while still providing a healthy lifestyle for our furry family member. First I like to say the Cat Mate Rotates the serving bowls as designed. Keeping the food cool is worthless.The ice packs supplied would help if the Cat Mate was insulated. I froze water in each compartment/bowl to see if this would extend the length of time. At 24 hours, the temp was safe if you froze the food in water. At 48 hours the temp was to high to keep the food at a safe temperature. Don't buy if you expect it to keep food cool and safe.

This is easy to program and very reliable but my cat figured out how to pop the lid open in a matter of weeks. I now have to tape the lid shut after I refill it and he's starting to get wise and peel the tape off. I'm afraid of what my son is capable of...

I bought two and used it for a trip while my two cats were at home. Worked reliably. I have my Alexa set to make a chime noise, say one's name, chime, the other's name, and one final chime right before this feeder spins. So far so good. They haven't been able to break into it, there have been zero hiccups. Highly recommended for people with inconsistent work schedules, or to simply not have them wake you up if you sleep in on the weekend :D

I bought two for our two cats. It took about a week to train our cats to recognize the sound of these, but they do work reliably and feel solidly constructed. The inside is easy to clean and to refill. The clock is relatively easy to set thanks to a fairly detailed display, though I wish you could set mealtimes in finer than 10 minute increments - that would have made training the cats easier. Also, while they do make a mechanical noise, I wish there was the option to add some kind of bell or buzzer so the cats can hear it from across the house. All in all though I'm happy with them.

I purchased this feeder because it had ice packs and I hoped they would stay cold for several hours but unfortunately they didn’t even make it past an hour. My cat eats fresh wet food that needs to be refrigerated so this didn’t meet my needs. If you have only dry food, then this should work fine.

We received this today and there were already signs of use. There were dry food residues under the top cover and also scratches at the bottom. It’s not in brand new condition unfortunately.

I like the idea of this product but first one i purchased in 2020 had a faulty display (couldn't read numbers). They sent me a new one, it worked okay a few times, and then the display went bad again! Yikes. Bad luck or cheap design?!

This was our first purchase from Chewy in 2018, and I've been meaning to review it ever since. This is a great product, simple to use and a life saver. It really only allows for 4 meals since one is always open, but depending on how often you feed your pet it can really free you up. It allows my family to leave our cat for overnight without worry. Highly recommend.
