Cat/Vitamins & Supplements/Allergy & Immune System
Sure, a cat's favorite food is fish, but there's a reason so many of them eat grass when they get the chance: it contains just about every vital nutrient their body needs. Many of the vitamins and antioxidants your feline pal depends on are weakened when their food is processed, but Ark Naturals Nu-Pet Feline Antioxidant Granular Supplement replenishes phytonutrients and natural trace elements needed for healthy hearts and organs, and even reduces shedding.
Powerful vitamin and antioxidant formula builds muscle and helps reduce cellular damage
Vitamin A, C, E and selenium help maintain healthy cell activity
Added taurine, cysteine, glutathione help support heart heath and organs, even reducing shedding
Wheat, year, and gluten free making this safe for all cats over 12 weeks of age
Green food phytonutrients help support your cat’s immune system
My 10 year old indoor Persian came down with a skin infection in April 2017. The vet gave him an antibiotic shot and sent him home with a low dose steroid. He came down with a cold as a result of the steroid and the skin infection returned, all for $177! I did my research and found this product, I mix it in his wet food 2 times a day and his skin infection has cleared up and I will continue with it for added health assurance. This is great stuff.
Use this for home-made cat food

Haven't used it yet. When you are sourcing raw meat, be sure to look for "secret ingredients". Some of the low-end ground meat products are amended with "flavor-enhancers" that include stuff that isn't good for cats (like MSG/spices). I am trying to 'mix it up' for my cats. A little home-made food in-between some high-quality purchased cat food.

My kitty has suffered with a snotty nose for the past 5 years and the vet could not come up with a cure. Since mixing a convient scoop in her morning wet food, her nose has cleared up. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a fur baby that has an immune system that could use a boost.
Not for my cat

Unfortunately, my cat would not eat his wet food with this mixed in. He tolerates powdered enzymes and probiotics in his food, but this product must have a smell he can detect and dislikes. Too bad because it looks like a good supplement.

I add this to my kitties homemade wet food. I use to only add Taurine. I showed a dear friend this product and she said it looked wonderful. I've been using it for a little over 1 week, but can see results already! Their coats are glossier, eyes brighter, all in all they seem to be happier! This is just giving them extra vitamins, minerals, etc., that I feel they deserve! After all, they are my children with 4 legs, and fur!! All 16 of them!! =^.^=
Plenty of product

The cats really like the taste so it is not hard to give. Lots of product to go around with 4 cats.
great supplementary nutrition

I used to go to Dr. Scanlan when my boy was a kitten, so I trust her products. I looked at the ingredients and I felt it would help my 12 year old and it has. Unfortunately, he doesn't like powders added to his food, so I make him little capsules and just pop it down his throat. His fur definitely looks better and I think he has a little more pep too.

My cat loves it. He usually eats his wet food at different intervals. But when I mix in this supplement he cleans his dish! I believe it really helps with hair balls and his coat shines. I feel like I am giving him a boost rather than just relying on the pet food industry for his nutrition.
The cats love it!

This is an excellent source of vitamins and antioxidant nutrients that I've been using for over a year now. My two females love it when I sprinkle it on their wet food in the morning, and I love the fact that I'm giving them a healthy addition to their diet. Softer, shinier coats, added friskiness and big bright eyes are the testimony to this. And "granular" does mean grainy; small and easy to digest for them. A wonderful added benefit for your cats. I highly recommend it to keep them healthy and happy.
More powder like than grandular
on Oct 15, 2013
I have no doubt this is a great product but unless your pet is not picky and does not mind being mixed in food, then perhaps check something else out. When I read grandular I thought that meant little pellets or small pieces. This is more like powder or shredded. All the cats turned their nose up and these include cats that eat ANYTHING! I think the "grandular" is misleading.
