Key Benefits

  • Super Scoop formula has powerful baking soda crystals along with special odor neutralizers to eliminate ammonia odors on contact, including those caused by bacteria.
  • Clumps immediately and solid so you can easily remove the source of odors quickly. Rock solid clumping makes for fast and easy scooping.
  • Fragrance free formula is perfect for fragrance sensitive cats and their owners, and for newborn kittens.
  • It's 99% dust free and low-tracking, so there's no dust cloud when pouring into the litter box and no loose litter around your home.
  • Made in the USA!

Cautions

Please wash hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter. Dispose of Used Litter in Trash. Do not flush or put in drains. We want to remind pregnant women and those with suppressed immune systems that a parasite sometimes found in cat feces can cause toxoplasmosis.

  • So dusty and does not clump well.

    By on

I bought 240 pounds of this Super Scoop cat litter on here. It is the brand that I love when I get it at the grocery store. However, this litter from Chewy.com was so dusty I had to stop using it. My entire laundry room and basement is literally covered in litter dust. It also would not clump very well. This litter also looks nothing like the same kind I get at the grocery store. The litter from Chewy.com looks like gravel. The same brand from the grocery store looks more like sand. I won't be buying it from Chewy again.

  • AHHHH...so much of an improvement !!!

I have fostered a mama cat and her 4 kittens. I started out with regular clay litter...plain and simple. But with 5 times the usage, that litter just did not cut it for ease of removing waste. I switched to a brand that was scoopable and covered up odors with the fragrance crystals by a company that also has deodorizing odor eliminating sprays and plug in products for odor control. Withing 24 hours, ALL 5 became very sick and I almost lost two of the kittens. I still do not have concrete proof of what caused the illness but as soon as I changed that litter back to plain clay style...the family started improving. It took a couple of weeks for the sickest but all are OK. It turns out that I have fostered a mama cat and her 4 kittens. I started out with regular clay litter...plain and simple. It took a couple of weeks for the sickest but all are OK. It turns out that the product for fragrance and the clumping additive potentially stick to the paws and as the cat and kittens clean themselves, they ingest these products. I read that this could have been the reason for their illness. I slowly introduced another brand of litter that had odor control (not with the same brand of fragrance) but not clumping. No problem except removal of waste products was still an issue. I then switched to this product (SUPER SCOOP by ARM AND HAMMER) fragrance free. AWESOME. Easy to remove waste product allowing the pan to stay fresher much longer. I am so happy. The only thing that would make it perfect would be a hypoallergenic LIGHT fragrance...for my taste but not necessary. … more

  • Better than expected, love the subscription service

I originally ordered this litter when the local store I was buying my cat litter from abruptly raised the price 17%. I was happy with the old brand, but not so attached to it to absorb an increase like that without considering alternatives. As I live car-free, hauling home heavy, bulky items like kitty litter is always a hassle, so I decided to check online options. I heard about Chewy from a neighborhood social media post. My cat and I both have respiratory issues, so I was looking for a litter that was fragrance free, which narrowed the options drastically. My cat and I both have respiratory issues, so I was looking for a litter that was fragrance free, which narrowed the options drastically. I was also looking for a competitive price, which I was able to achieve by ordering enough 40 pound boxes at a time to qualify for free shipping. I didn't even know 40 pound boxes of kitty litter existed before I saw them on Chewy. I was pleasantly surprised when the litter arrived. It is a little finer than the old brand. This causes the peeballs to flatten a little as the litter is more dense. Flatter peeballs have less side surface, so they don't stick to the side of the box as much, a huge plus. Also, while my cat tracks more of the finer litter out of the box, most of it falls off her feet before she leaves the bathroom, so I don't have cat litter all over the house anymore. The subscription service is great. For my single cat, I order four 40 pound boxes, which lasts about 3.5 months (she pees a lot, your cat might use less), and I LOVE having it delivered to my door. The boxes are delivered as is, taped closed, but no outer box. They were banged up a little, but none of them was leaking, and I don't really care how they look. As long as they arrive intact, I prefer that there is not a lot of environmentally unfriendly excess packaging. Plus, delivery was fast. My first shipment arrived the day after I ordered it. To sum up, less scraping, less vacuuming, and it's delivered to my door for the same price I was paying at the local store BEFORE the price increase. Better for kitty too - the box never gets unpleasant because I didn't have time to get to the store. Nothing to say no to there - wish I'd discovered it sooner. Thanks to my old store for giving me a reason to switch ;) … more

  • Does everything it is advertised to do

    By on

I like the finer textured litter, but hey...I'm not the one using it! It does meet the likings of my 8 persians, and that is the bottom line. The clumps are not super hard, but they also do not fall apart when I scoop. There is a little less tracking with this texture. What I don't like....the box. Litter always gets hung up in the folds of the cardboard. Pouring it out is not as easy as the jugs, but...the smaller container was a bit more manageable.

  • The best litter

    By on

Arm & Hammer Super Scoop is the only litter my cat likes, because it's fragrance-free. None of my cats could tolerate those litters with "fresh floral scent" or the like, because "fresh floral" really stinks. I hope A & H continues to manufacture unscented litter, because I intend to buy a lot of it.

  • Best litter

If your like me and can’t stand the strong fake flower smell of most cat litters this is the one to use! It works great and the smell doesn’t overwhelm me. I will some times use their deorderizer because it has a nice lite scent.

  • Great Cat Litter Product

    By on

Arm & Hammer Super Scoop Cat Litter is just not any old clay litter product. It absorbs waste very well and makes cleaning the litter boxes really fast and easy. Best of all there is no perfume smell to turn the cat away. Works very well for multiple cats or just one. Also, having Chewy home delivery makes life so much easier for senior citizens. No heavy lifting litter boxes in the stores and then again when you get it home. Delivery right to the door is wonderful.

  • Good Scoop-able Litter

    By on

The super scoop litter is exactly that -super scoop able! I was able to scoop everything out! With other litter I have used the wet sticks to the bottom of the box. It is also pretty dust free compared to some . So far I think this litter will work out fine.

  • Not great for smells

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

I thought buying this litter would help cut down on the odors because it uses baking soda. Unfortunately not. It seems not to have any fragrance and the baking soda clumps up but doesn't help.
