Rated 4 out of 5 by NoseWorkDog Overall Solid Product
This bowl is holding up well after many uses. I did not notice any bad rubber smell or have any trouble peeling off the sticker. I do have the bowl on a silicon mat, so I cannot say if it slides around or not on a tile floor. Washes up nicely. I did like it so much I ordered 2 more. It does hold less than the stated amount but I don't really care. I find it to be the perfect size for my dog. I bought the 4 cup bowl and I have a 40 lb dog.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Snomom Good steel but greatly undersized and does slip around
Got 3 sizes, all are 3/4 or less capacity than stated in cups. I got 12 cup as a water bowl, should be 3 quarts. It's just big enough for my Labs food bowl with 2 1/2 cups kibble. 8 cup I got for his food bowl, 8 cup, is just big enough for cat kibble/multiple cats, about 4 cups. Non skid bottom is hard plastic so does nothing to prevent bowl from traveling allover.
I gave a 3 because is good, heavy, easy clean stainless steel bowl.

The bowl's size is perfect for my 11 lb. poodle. It is nonskid, durable and indestructible!

There is no non-skid on the bottom. The bowl is fairly lightweight and tips easily by the puppy.

i love, love, this bowl. i have a cat who lives for me to put a fresh water in her bowl every day so she can play in it and eventually tip it over onto the floor. i admit its comical watching her efforts to tip over this new bowl.

We bought the 8 and 12 cup bowls, and while they are great in their practicality, the smell of the rubber on the bottom was quite strong. Hoping that will alleviate in time. Also, I noted all the reviews cautioning that the label/sticker placed in the middle of the bowl made the adhesive substance impossible to remove - VERY TRUE. It looked like double-sided tape, and was horrible. Finally removed all traces of the adhesive by using a bit of Baking Soda and a spray of isopropyl alcohol (we keep IPA in a spray bottle as opposed to using Raid brand or other toxic insect sprays). Using my fingertips, the grittiness of the baking soda dislodged the glue. Rinsed off well, and put to use right away. I appreciate the depth of the bowls. Can't speak to its durability as we've only begun to use it, and keep it stationary & elevated (placed atop a towel) for our retriever mix. I wanted to post this to share our removal method for the sticky label. Hope this is helpful to someone!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Stephanie NOT Heavy duty or Slip Resistant.
I was disappointed. I put it down on the kitchen floor & it didn't even try to "grip" as to not slide. The rubber portion is just too small/thin to be effective. I didn't even bother removing the sticker. It stands no chance with my dogs to not tip over so we haven't wasted our time trying to use it only to clean up a mess.
The previous stainless steel slip resistant bowls we've bought have thick rubber wrapping the whole bottom & about 1/3 of the way up the bowl on the side. You couldn't push or slide those bowls an inch if you wanted to, let alone tip them over (even with an overzealous canine tongue while eating or slurping up water). Perhaps they've spoiled me (& they cost more) but I've learned my lesson trying to get a deal & convenience so I headed to the store & bought another one of those. Unfortunately Chewy.com doesn't sell those or I would have gotten it through them (& I'm sure it would have even been at a better price through this site).
