Instructions

  • OPEN: Use finger scoop to lift open pink door.
  • LOAD: To load, place tube white side up under the pink tabs.
  • CLOSE: Close the pink door and the tube will snap open.
  • APPLY: The cat/kitten should be standing for easy application. To apply, use tip to part hair and get next to the skin at the base of the skull. Press square on pink door and squeeze out the entire contents of the tube onto the skin. Do not spread Bio Spot Active Care by hand. Do not bathe the cat/kitten within the first 24 hours after Spot On has been applied. Households with more than one cat/kitten should prevent cats/kittens from grooming each other until solution has dried. Although the skin and hair oils will over time distribute the application over the entire cat/kitten, brushing the cat/kitten 12-24 hours after treatment will help to distribute the material over the skin.
  • DISPOSE: To dispose of empty tube, open pink door and drop empty tube into trash or offer for recycling if available. Close applicator device door and store in original package.
  • RETREAT: Do not reapply product for 30 days. Do not treat more than once per month.

Bio Spot Active Care Flea & Tick Spot On for Cats (5 Pounds and Over) is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Effective Bio Spot is not effective in flea treatment. I used it on all of my cats (7) and I think the flea population has grown instead of being diminished in any way. Don't waste your money on this one folks!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not like. There was a lot of product in the small applicator , and it got all over the cats fur, and it's very oily and after almost 2 weeks it won't wash off. Will not use again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Messy Thought the applicator idea looked great. Later found it to be messy, unreliable and left question as to how much product actually was applied to the cats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Thing I've Found That Works That's Affordable Just love this product! I've been using it on my 13 year old cat since she was a kitten, and unlike other products I tried, it is effective and does not cause an allergic reaction she has had to an el-cheapo alternative. It's also within my price range, and that's a must for me right now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used this for years I have used bio spot on my cats for many years and it works great. During the first 3 years my cats were outside/inside cats. My current cat is an inside/screen porch cat. Great price and it works! Sometimes in summer I have to apply it after three weeks. The only negative is the coat conditioner that that is part of the product. The cat will have an oily spot where you applied the product for about three days. As an aside, years ago, I tried bio spot for dogs and it did not work at all. I used Advantage on my dogs until it stopped working, then I used Frontline until it stopped working and now I use Trifexis pills on my dog. But for cats, I highly recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from First timer Bought this product after reading ALL the reviews (Bio Spot Defense Flea & Tick) and thought sure I was finally buying a product that would take care of the flea issue on our three cats and at a good price compared to the pricey name brands. Not one of our three cats had any relief from the flea in fact it made it worse as the fleas began to run. However, at that point I figured, "Oh this is going to work well" but there was never any sign that the fleas died. They kept scratching to the point that after a couple days I took out the flea comb to see why they were still scratching and I found, yes, more fleas! Now it has been a couple weeks and they are as tormented as ever.
