Description

Bio Spot Active Care Flea & Tick Spray for Cats & Kittens is a fast-acting formula that delivers effective results. The Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) is a key element in this formula to help prevent reinfestation.

Key Benefits

  • Safe for use on cats and kittens 12 weeks of age or older
  • Kills adult fleas, eggs and larvae. Also kills ticks and deer ticks while killing and repelling mosquitoes
  • Contains the Infest Stop ingredient, IGR, to kill flea eggs and prevent reinfestation for up to 2.5 months
  • Easy to use and fast-acting, just spray directly on your cat and ruffle the coat while spraying against the natural lay of the hair to ensure proper coverage
  • Kills fleas instantly upon contact, so you can spray directly onto affected areas

Cautions

HAZARDS TO HUMANS: Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet. Repeated exposure to etofenprox can cause skin irritation. HAZARDS TO ANIMALS: DO NOT USE ON KITTENS LESS THAN 12 WEEKS OF AGE. For external use only. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant, nursing, or animals on medication. Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. In some cases, excessive salivation and ear and paw flicking may occur; however, these effects are temporary and not harmful.

Instructions

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING For Fleas and Ticks: A light, even coverage of the hair coat will provide effective flea control. Do not allow spray from application or damp cat/kitten to come into contact with painted or finished surfaces, including wood floors/furniture, leather/vinyl materials, or other surfaces of concern.

For best results, ruffle the coat while spraying against the natural lay of the hair. Cover cat’s/kitten’s eyes with hand. With a firm, fast stroke, spray head, ears, and chest. If you see a tick, spray it directly.

With cloth, rub on face around mouth, nose, and eyes. Then spray the neck, middle and hind quarters, finishing with legs and tail last. Avoid spraying rectum and genitals.

For all cats, spray until damp, not saturated. Do not allow cats/kittens to become chilled.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply Bio Spot Active Care Flea & Tick Spray?

Cover animal’s eyes with hand and with a firm, fast stroke to get a proper spray mist, spray head, ears and chest until damp. With cloth, rub into face around mouth, nose and eyes. Then spray neck, middle and hindquarters, finishing legs last. For best penetration of the spray to the skin, direct spray against the natural lay of the hair. On longhaired dogs and cats, run your hand against the lay of the hair, spraying the ruffled hair directly behind the hand. Make sure spray thoroughly wets ticks.

If my pet has a lot of fleas, can I use more than one on-animal product at a time?

As with all on-animal insecticides, it is advisable to consult a veterinarian before using products with any other flea and tick control product or drug. It shouldn’t be necessary to treat your pet with more than one product at the same time. Using two products at once will not kill fleas & ticks faster, or more completely. Since most of the flea stages are found not on the pet, but in the environment, it is best to treat the environment in addition to treating the pet.

Works great against pests for my cat who enjoys going outside during the summer when he needs protection for ticks and flying bugs like mosquitoes. This is a reliable product!

  • Worked for me!

After changing my cats from Revolution to my vet's propriety "equivalent" I had a terrible outbreak of fleas in the house. I got the girls back on Revolution, but my little Grace has a horrible flea allergy and the Revolution wasn't working as effectively. I got this spray as a last resort to try and help her (she has been to the vet for shots for relief). It worked! She has not scratched since I put this on her and her sores from scratching have healed. This cat momma is very relieved. I used this in conjunction with the Sentry home spray and the fleas seem to have vanished. I will keep up with applications of both.

We have 4 cats that are indoor /outdoor cats that we treat with Frontline . Lately we noticed the new kitten had fleas , but he is not let outside. So i decided to treat them all, and the fleas tried to get away but after spraying them they died and were easy to pull off and discard .The only thing is that the bottle is small, just wish they had a larger size .
