Description

Blue Buffalo Naturally Fresh Multi-Cat Quick-Clumping Cat Litter offers pet parents incredible odor control and long-lasting absorbency. It's so absorbent, it takes less litter to get the job done, which means each bag goes a lot farther and less is wasted. Made from a proprietary blend of the fibrous materials found in the walnut shell, this litter neutralizes litter box odors better than clay, pine and wheat. It produces harder clumps than pine, corn and wheat in as little as 15 minutes, making clean-up simple and mess-free. Unlike clay litters which throw off silica dust, Blue's Naturally Fresh is virtually dust-free so you and your cat can breathe easy. And because it doesn’t stick to your cat’s paws, it won’t be tracked throughout your house.

  • does not clump well

    By on

I love the idea of all-natural cat litter, but I can't seem to find one that works well so I guess I'm going back on my search for a good clumping clay cat litter. This one doesn't control scent very well, leaves a film of fine brown dust all over EVERYTHING, and the clumps break apart easily, making the litter box cleaning take about 10 times longer than it should. I do like that it's very light-weight, but the con to that is that it allows for litter tracking a lot further from the litter box.

  • Great Litter!

    By on

I really like this litter. I have used corn, wheat, pine, and clay litters in the past. So far I like this one the best. The odor control is very good for three cats and the clumping is excellent for a non-clay based litter. Also, the low dust is what made me switch to this litter from a pine based one. I think this litter works very similar to, if not the same, as the World's Best Cat Litter. Great product!

  • Litter flies everywhere--makes a big mess

    By on

It clumps fine but doesn't eliminate order. The smell is neutral--not strong or dusty. However, the littler flies all over the place...a good 8-10 feet in any direction. I found myself sweeping twice each day just to keep it down. Would not use again. I think its far too lightweight and thus causes one BIG mess.

  • The dust is real

    By on

If you like dust clouds, then this is your type of litter! Big fan of the Blue Buffalo food, so switched my cats litter to this from Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal. Big mistake. The dust cloud it makes when scooping is unbearable. Had to transition back to the prior litter. Cat's preferred the old litter as well.

  • Good Product

This litter is chemical-free and safe for your cat. We have 3 cats and they are happy with it. It clumps well and if the cat eats some of it from cleaning his fur or feet, it won't hurt him. The only downside is some dust, but I'd rather deal with that than perfume or harmful chemicals.

  • The Best Litter ever

    By on

This litter is by far any litter I found until I found this wonderful product at Chewy.com! I began to have problems with my cat after getting a 5 yr. old small dog who chases him out of where I am. Very territorial of me. So my cat who will be 6 in Aug. which he never ever pooed out of his extra large box, he did use it to pee but, was pooing just outside his box...I clean it daily so that wasn't his problem, he did not like the natural pine not to mention how po-ed about the dog!!!...This litter is dark brown, looks like lg. ground coffee beans. MY BOY LOVES IT AND IS NOW IS MY PURR-FECT BOY

  • Used to be the best cat litter out there...now not so much.

    By on

This is the only litter I used as it really worked (I have 4 cats). It seems however the past couple of months the litter doesn't hold the odor as well and I'm changing the litter more frequently. This litter is not cheap so not sure what is happening.

  • Love this product

I have 5 cats and live in a rural area without trash pickup. The main reason I switched to this litter is because it is flushable or compostable. We were tired of storing used clay and then hauling the heavy bags to the dump. I was a little concerned about switching to a natural litter after reading some of the mixed reviews but figured we had to try something. This litter is great! I use it in sifting litter boxes and have had no problems. I sift it into a dedicated bucket with lid and when that is full, I dump it into the compost bin. It clumps well, I have had no issues with odor, and all of my cats have transitioned well to it. Also one of our cats was experiencing respiratory problems, sneezing, sniffling , etc. After switching those problems have disappeared. I will definitely be buying this product again. … more

  • So far very impressed

I'll start off by saying I've used corn and clay litter this is my first try at nut based litters. I have two cats and two cat boxes one at the base of the stairs and one in my bedroom. My usual brand is arm and hammer naturals corn or arm and hammer clump and seal. Every litter I've used tracks to some degree, I don't notice it on my carpet like clay litter and there's nothing on my bed thankfully (clay litter was constantly on my bed.) The odor control works great for me, my young male recently had very horrible diarrhea which I would smell when he went to the bathroom (always in my bedroom) but once it was covered the smell was gone. I took a gamble on getting this it was on sale at the time I'll start off by saying I've used corn and clay litter this is my first try at nut based litters. My only real complaint is that sometimes when I scoop it makes my nose itchy but doesn't seem to bother the cats at all and to be fair I haven't had any of my allergy medication in a while and my allergies are horrible. I bought another bag last night to have on hand though I don't think I'll need it soon I scoop twice a day everyday and add litter as needed. I do full changes once a month (with clay litter it was usually more often because of all the stuck litter at the bottom.) So far very very happy with this product. … more

  • Best cat litter for blind cats.

    By on

I had problems with the clay litter when my cat lost her sight. The walnut-based litter seems to absorb faster. She can't see to bury her waste so I was always coming home to clay cat litter prints on the hardwood floors . As everyone knows that stuff is like cement when it dries. Haven't had any problems at all with the walnut-based litter. Much easier to clean out the litter box to. Bonus is having it delivered to my door and it's less expensive on auto ship.
