Description

Blue Buffalo Naturally Fresh Multi-Cat Quick-Clumping Cat Litter offers pet parents incredible odor control and long-lasting absorbency. It's so absorbent, it takes less litter to get the job done, which means each bag goes a lot farther and less is wasted. Made from a proprietary blend of the fibrous materials found in the walnut shell, this litter neutralizes litter box odors better than clay, pine and wheat. It produces harder clumps than pine, corn and wheat in as little as 15 minutes, making clean-up simple and mess-free. Unlike clay litters which throw off silica dust, Blue's Naturally Fresh is virtually dust-free so you and your cat can breathe easy. And because it doesn’t stick to your cat’s paws, it won’t be tracked throughout your house.

  • Not bad, but not great.

    By on

Figured I would try this because Chewy does not carry Abound natural litter. This one is ok, but not as good as Abound, and for several reasons a step up from typical clay. The walnut is a heavier medium so you do not get as much tracking but you still get enough to sweep every day. The granules are very hard and not quite as absorbent as I'd like. This works fine until a cat wees in the same corner of the box twice, and then the litter breaks down, stops clumping and stops odor controlling. If only once, then it works very well. The odor of the litter itself is clean and without perfume, top marks for that, and the lack of dust. Maybe it is the large granules, but it does not seem to last as Figured I would try this because Chewy does not carry Abound natural litter. • Better than flower-scented dusty clay

    By on

I always put off scooping the litter box because I hated kicking up the dust from our old clay litter. I also hated the flowery smell. Over the years I've been working to get rid of any and every product with fragrance; I had not yet taken the plunge for litter. I tried this walnut litter and have used it for several weeks now. It's great! Just what I was hoping for. It feels a lot more lightweight while scooping, definitely much, much less dust. It has an earthy smell, mostly just neutral. My cat still tracks this litter a bit, but not as much as clay. Even though it's a little more expensive than clay, I think it's well worth the money. • Best cat litter ever

    By on

I have tried everything from Tidy Cat to Arm & Hammer to the best cat litter in the world to clay litter. I am allergic to all of them. They make me sneeze like crazy when I scoop out the litter box. Tidy Cat and the clay litter just stink and the arm & hammer was way too deodorized. The Worlds best cat litter was OK, but still made me sneeze. Then I came across this litter at a local store and since it was on sale and I was in dire need of more litter, I gave it a chance and I am so glad that I did. The kittens (4) immediately took to it, I didn't even have to mix it with existing litter. It does not dust and absorbs odors much better than anything else I have used. Maybe the scent will keep the bears away. … more

  • Great Litter Alternative

    By on

I have been using this litter exclusively for 1 year now. Before that I would use popular clay litters. My thoughts on this litter: 1. Barely any dust kicks up when you pour the litter in the box or move it around in there. SO MUCH BETTER than clay litters. 2. Poop clumps are excellent. Pee clumps tend to break up easily if they fall off the scoop. When the clump does break apart, because of the color it is harder to discover where all the pieces have gone. 3. Keep odors away. With 2 cats, 2 litter boxes, and scooping them every day I never have an issue with smell. 4. The granules of this litter are larger and a little rougher than other litters I have tried. My other cat was transitioned right away because it was the only kind we had at the time. No issues at all with the texture of the litter. All in all, I love this litter and will continue to repurchase. … more

  • Great Clumping, But Not For Our Cats

    By on

We have been trying to find a natural cat litter for our two cats. I've heard that a more natural cat litter is better for cats all-around health. We tried a corn based litter first, but it was a mess and our cats wouldn't cover their waste anymore. I tried this litter next and we are having the same problem. On the plus side, it clumps as well as a clay litter and covers odors, but our cats stopped covering their waste. I would still recommend trying it if you are looking to switch to a natural blend, but this one just wasn't for our cats.

  • Not as good as I hoped

    By on

This claims to be virtually dust free and has exceptional is at control, which is just not true. Dust formed a cloud as I poured it into our litter box and my cats feces smell has traveled the length of my house as soon as the deed is done. If I don't clean it within a half hour the smell is overwhelming in that area. It does clump well and I like that the litter itself doesn't track much and alone it smells fine. The price point is alright but I would not recommend this product.

  • Amazing Litter

    By on

We originally used World's Best Pine litter, for some reason our cats took a dislike to it and started to potty outside the box. I figured the litter was to blame, and so we switched them to this. Literally overnight the going potty elsewhere stopped. We had set up two litter boxes for them, one with the old and one with the new. Surprise surprise, the one with the old stuff in it hadn't been touched the next afternoon. We will definitely be getting more of this.

  • Great Litter!

    By on

I really like this litter. I have used corn, wheat, pine, and clay litters in the past. So far I like this one the best. The odor control is very good for three cats and the clumping is excellent for a non-clay based litter. Also, the low dust is what made me switch to this litter from a pine based one. I think this litter works very similar to, if not the same, as the World's Best Cat Litter. Great product!

  • Good for one or two cats

    By on

I have 4 cats and it seems to cause a lot of spill over onto the floor. On the good side it seems less dusty than the clay litter I used before . But it doesn't keep the smell covered well enough for 4 cats but my friend loves it for her one cat. She especially likes it because it doesn't clump as hard as clay so you don't waste a lot of the litter.

  • Simon loves it...and Gemma does too!

Our Siamese has the usual problems that can plague Siamese cats. We finally conquered the problem with no plastic bowls and Naturally Fresh litter. No more scratching, no more chewing on his tail, no more frantic rubbing his face. This litter does not have any residue or additives so I breath better as well. I highly recommend this product.
