I purchased a couple trial cans of this duck flavor from my local pet store, before ordering a case from Chewy. All 3 cats did reluctantly eat most of the first can (split 3 ways) but only ate a few bites of the 2nd can the following day before walking away and never returning. Glad I bought 2 cans to try, instead of only one. My cats eat only Blue Buffalo food and have since they were kittens. I vary the textures and flavors between different varieties within the Blue line of foods. They enjoy most of the varieties and flavors, but not this one. I know that this is good food but my 3 cats just didn't like this flavor for some reason. Even after having tested this food successfully ahead of time, my cats only eat this food reluctantly now that I bought a case full. I wanted to feed them a higher quality canned food and now I'm stuck with a lot of tins that neither cat likes.

  • This cat food is the Bomb:)

My cat is now 16 years old and is missing teeth now. She is Siamese and very picky. She has made me change her food until she settled and stayed emphatically on your Duck blend. She has to have it pureed. She will eat no other. I have gone out of my way to make sure she has the food she wants. I tried to get this at the local pet stores, but it is not available all the time, and only in Two stores. I finally went online to purchase it and have it shipped when I went out for food for her and they were all out. I figured it out and it is cheaper to have it sent this way. Thank You so much. You have a customer for life.

  • Worst Ever

I have no idea what the problem is, but my entire order from Blue Buffalo Wilderness Duck Grain Free Cat Food AND the dog food was refused by all 6 of my cats and my dog. I even gave it to a friend whose pets also refused it. It smelled really bad...looked awful too. It smelled like it WAS bad... I am putting it out in the woods for the raccoons and possums...maybe they'll eat it. Never again Everything in the entire order was Blue Buffalo, and everything was refused by both the cats and the dog.

  • My cats LOVE it!

I wanted to go the grain free route. I was skeptical to try duck but my cats LOVE it! They are all finicky eaters but they ate this with gusto. One of my girls has a sensitive stomach and she cannot keep the usual brand down- So far she hasnt had a problem. I ordered 2 more cases. Im very happy.

this is the first Blue wet food my cats have eaten (reluctantly). It seemed a tad dry for pate so I had to add about a tablespoon of warm water. I am trying to switch my cats to a higher quality canned food but they won't eat it and prefer Fancy Feast which i don't like. good ingredients but just not for my cats

  • Cats' delight

    By on

This was my first purchase of Blue Buffalo products for our cats ( our dogs love doggie BB already ) Upon opening can, I was impressed by the firm, solid contents and our cats were excited by the aroma immediately. They ate every bit. I had resisted cat BB because it seemed expensive over other brands, but 'no grain' matters to us and for our pets, three of whom are old now, BB was an instant favorite.

  • Not a hit with our cats

Our cats like this brand, but the duck variety is not well-liked by our two cats. The dog likes it as a treat, though, so that's how I'll avoid wasting it.

This is what my cats, Tigger and Rooby-Doo said when I served to them! They loved it. It smelled good, too. They cleaned their bowls.
